Wonderful stay!! We absolutely loved our time at Loon Landing. The dock worked perfectly to boat up to with our own boat and the kids spent hours just jumping off of the dock and lily pad. It was a great launching site to go exploring Voyageurs which we did a couple days. We also boated over to a resort in Crane Lake to grab a drink one night which was super convenient and fun. The local marina was great for souvenirs as well as ice or gas for your boat. The cabin itself was excellent as well. Definitely had rustic vibes but was very clean and well maintained. We cooked in the fully stocked kitchen every night and it worked great. I especially loved the pans!! It’s rare to find such good quality cookware in a VRBO! The bunkhouse (very close to the cabin) worked great for our 3 kids (13, 11 & 7) and they thought it was pretty cool to have their own “cabin”. Lots of books available to read, but didn’t see any games so bring some of those with if that’s your thing. Overall a wonderful stay and I would love to come back!! Thank you!

A true northern Minnesota getaway

The location is beyond words. Truly beautiful and relaxing. We loved bird watching including a daily visit by a chatty eagle. Absolutely amazing. We explored Crane lake and caught enough walleyes and bass for a fish dinner at the cabin. The eagle enjoyed the fish remains right off the end of the dock. I highly recommend Loon Landing.

Exactly the vacation we were hoping for!

Loon Landing was the perfect place for our family. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Emily, Michael, and Serena were always available and responded promptly to all of our questions! Check in and check out were a breeze! We brought groceries, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked for us to cook all of our meals there. The location was great - private yet close to marina and ice cream! Gorgeous views and most peaceful, relaxing setting. Renting the pontoon is a MUST! We spent most of our time on the boat - fishing, tubing, or just cruising. Though we brought our own paddle boards, we also used all the tubes and the lily pad provided. We didn’t want for anything — except a few more days!

advice - it stated in the description that is sleeps 6 - there was only 4 chairs at the dining table - so thankfully there were chairs in the bunk house we brought to the main cabin - ALSO only 4 chairs on the deck so we asked Emily for some lawn chairs to accommodate the six of us . this is minor but also a couple of chairs on the deck of the bunk house would have been great to enjoy the beautiful view. we were lacking in spoons also . Just wanted the host to know this for the next customers
