About this property
Yesterday Après: Chic+Roomy Ski Holiday Lodge!
This home has an earthy French Country flair, laced with quality vintage pieces offering comfort and luxury for modern living. It is a sanctuary for family, from the hearth stone central fireplace, to classic children's games and books, to the rustic kitchen and elongated family dining table. The home displays high-end linens and towels in every room. Warm up by the fire pit at night.
The space
Unload your bags in style, no matter the weather, because the portico will protect you and your car from the elements. The front entry is easily accessible with just one step up from the driveway.
Bedroom 1 "The Ruby Room": Queen bed, first floor, smart TV, desk, corner chair, walk-in closet; across the hall from the downstairs bathroom.
Bedroom 2 "The Mocha Room": Queen bed, first floor, large dresser, corner chair and two closets; right next to downstairs bathroom.
Bedroom 3 "The King Suite": King bed, second floor, en suite bathroom, smart TV, dresser, and corner chair.
Bedroom 4 "The Bunk Room": Two Queen beds under Twin XL bunks, second floor, smart TV, en suite bathroom, and crib.
The rustic eat-in kitchen has island seating for three to keep the chef company while meals are prepared. Cabinets are fully stocked with all the cooking essentials and there is extra space for keeping groceries or pantry items. The long dining table easily sits 8.
Several lounging areas give you space to spread out and relax. The Great Room has cathedral ceilings, a wall of windows for natural light, and a spacious sectional couch for gathering around the fireplace or watching a movie. The sunroom has bright views of the surrounding forest and oversized chairs perfect for curling up with a book. Upstairs in the loft, the day bed invites you for an afternoon snooze and the kid's corner has toys and tiny chairs for our youngest guests.
There is ample outdoor seating on the deck where you can enjoy serenity overlooking the woods. Slow down and listen to the birdsong or spy on deer and other wildlife frequently roaming by the house.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the entire home, all the decks, and the surrounding wooded yard. Be aware that there is no fence marking the end of our property lines in the forest.
