We were 2 couples and loved our stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Peaceful cabin on the pond. Loved watching the animals. Bring your binoculars!! Very clean with just enough space. 2 queen beds.
An amazing experience watching so many exotic animals—as close as one can get to a Serengeti experience without leaving the U.S. Indeed where the "deer and antelope roam"—animals from all over the world. (Bring your binoculars, spotting scope, and/or long lens camera.) Cabin was roomy and comfortable—with a wraparound porch—located in a good area for birding/exploring the Upper Texas Coast. When you go, be sure to ask where's "Tubby" (the resident pot-bellied pig).
