This is a wonderful oasis tucked into the quiet and peaceful woods in Pound Ridge. So quiet and seemingly remote and yet minutes from excellent restaurants and shopping.

Wedding Haven

The house was the perfect place for our family to stay, regroup and relax during a busy week of wedding activities. We enjoyed the fabulous kitchen, large gathering areas, big bedrooms with comfy beds and would definetly come again.

Beautiful retreat in Pound Ridge

Lovely wooded property with nice outdoor seating area to enjoy nature, fire pit was a treat. House was spacious, open and comfortable. A great rental to enjoy our family gathering and relax.

Great stay in Pound Ridge

We had our family Winter Holiday get together here. I grew up in Pound Ridge, so we knew the area and everything to expect. The house was clean, organized, all the amenities were great, nice TV and WiFi, and the fireplaces made for a warm and cozy stay. Highest recommendation!

The home was beautiful!

The home was beautiful & perfectly located for our time in New York. The check-in process was seamless & the host was very responsive. Unfortunately there was a strong scent of mildew in the home when we got there & it didn’t go away. We also found upwards of 15 bees inside the home. One of the bathrooms does not have a shower curtain so you really can only shower in the master bath unless you want water going everywhere. We really did enjoy our stay outside of these things though & would rebook if these things were addressed.

Hello Martha , I am very sorry that you have experienced those things , the interior of the house was recently painted and there may have been some remaining paint smell , that may have been what the smell was ? as far as the bees where were they indoors or outdoors ? i also never saw bees inside the house , only outside in the summer time and we took care of that. As for the shower curtain , i do apologize for that ,the prior guest broke the rod , i put an extra mat on the floor temporarily it would have been fine to shower there , the water does not reach .I am glad anyway that you enjoyed the house otherwise . i will immediately correct those issues and would be happy to welcome you again , anytime .Thank you so much for the feed back ! Pound Ridge house # Property ID 3240185

Needed a big place to stay for extended family and found this house on VRBO, owner was very responsive and house was as advertised. Location was very convenient to where we needed to be and although the weather did not cooperate when we were there the surroundings are beautiful and hope to be able to take advantage of all the hiking and other outdoor activities. Hard to imagine you can be this remote, yet so close to Scotts Corners with its quaint shops, restaurants and market as well as everything New Canaan and Stamford have to offer. House was well supplied and we did not need to run out for anything (other than food). Wifi was fast and responsive, we had multiple users at one time all working from our laptops and such. 4 big bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths, 2 fireplaces plus an outdoor fire pit, plenty of wood to burn, big 3 car garage, lots of stars visible from the winter sky. We would and probably will rent this property again.
