The space
This studio apartment has the comfiest king-sized bed and a kitchenette that includes a toaster-oven, microwave, fridge/freezer combo, coffee maker including local organic coffee, and electric tea kettle with assorted teas. The bathroom is small but comfortable with a step-in shower. There is a small designated workspace and TV in the bedroom. Additional heating is provided by a space-heater to ensure your comfort and coziness.
Cross the street and enjoy unique brews, vinyl records, and a comic book collection at Dead Reckoning Tavern or peruse the local fare at the North Coast Co-Op, enjoy the famous Saturday Farmer’s Market on the Plaza, take a walk to the world-renowned Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary, enjoy festivities at the Creamery District and the Plaza, or take in a Humboldt Crabs Baseball game when in season.
Guest Access
Your studio apartment has a private entrance and a yard surrounded by topiary hedges shaped into a dragon and two whales and includes a picnic table for your enjoyment. Please be aware your dog may need to be leashed to avoid its possible escape from under the hedges. Parking is on-street in a safe neighborhood. Arcata is very walkable and almost every restaurant, bar, and shop is located within a few-block radius from our home. This studio is in the heart of this vibrant downtown community.
Other things to note
This is a pet friendly unit with a $35 pet fee per stay (only one dog per reservation unless otherwise agreed in advance). Our downtown location means local events are often happening close by. Eateries and local pubs make it perfect for someone wanting to enjoy the vibrant downtown life of Arcata. The pub across the street boasts world-class beers and a great vinyl record and a comic book collection to browse.
