Welcome to south Skagit’s private Sahale Chalet overlooking Skagit County located on 10 acres in south Mount Vernon. Minutes from I-5, yet you feel like your in the countryside. This property is close for daytrips such as Deception Pass, the North Cascades, Chuchanut Mountain. Great restaurants, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and small town activities.

Located on the property is a large barn, outbuildings, fruit trees, and depending on the time of year is a local flower producer who wholesales her flowers to local vendors around town.

Skagit Valley Gem

The house is wonderful and as advertised. We loved the fruit trees on the property, the spacious rooms and plenty of space for our family to spread out. The location is convenient to all area attractions and Shannon was wonderful during check in and throughout our stay. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful property

We stayed here for my son's wedding. The property was beautiful and the home clean and spacious. We were a party of 7 and it fit our family perfectly.

Amazing location and property

The house is close to town, but far enough to have privacy. At the bottom of little mountain, the house is in perfect location for spontaneous hikes. Accommodations were great and house was clean. The kids had so much fun roaming the property and catching glimpses of wildlife. Host was fantastic! One of our favorite stays throughout the years.

Excellent property – served extended family very well

We all enjoyed our stay here. The foosball table was a big hit with our 7- and 10-year-old grandsons – and a few of the adults. Shannon, host and owner, communicated well before and during our stay. She came over promptly and resolved a small problem we had.
