Welcome to Vero Ranch! This spacious, conveniently located ranch house features all the necessities and a lot of amenities! Located just outside of Fredericksburg on a private road near several popular wineries and La Bonne Vie Ranch, privacy and seclusion are plentiful on this private acreage. Inside is a large open concept living/kitchen/dining area with plenty of seating, a Flatscreen TV, full kitchen with two coffee pots, and a dining table for 8. The split floor plan provides peace and quiet for the primary suite, and a sense of camaraderie and convenience for the additional 3 bedrooms + bonus room!

​​​​​​Features of this spectacular family home include 4 bedrooms (a primary king suite with ensuite bath, 3 queen bedrooms, and a bonus twin bed with a trundle in the den), a full kitchen PLUS an additional mini kitchen with a drip coffee pot and Keurig, Flatscreen TVs, a large private backyard with a xeriscaped entertaining area featuring a private hot tub, gas fire-pit, and gas BBQ grill, plus plenty of seating for everyone! Also in the home you'll find other convenient and charming touches, such as a stackable washer/dryer, piano, two car garage, Roku streaming TV, and more. With both children and pets allowed and offering a total occupancy of 12, this comfy, amenity-focused ranch house is perfect for the WHOLE family!

There is a limit of 2 pets per reservation. A fee of $45 per pet, per night will apply.

Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, Possum, Birds (including Hawks), ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night, and supervise your children at all times while they are outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible. This includes but is not limited to: ants, snakes, spiders, scorpions, beetles/roaches/water-bugs, mice, or flies.

-Check out is 11am
-No smoking/vaping/pens/ecigs permitted
-There will be a $200 per pet fee incurred for undisclosed animals
-Daily housekeeping is not provided
-Park in designated areas only

Best house we have stayed out in awhile! Everything about it was perfect! Baby friendly! Great conversations were had around the fire pit. Enjoyed the s’mores supplied by the host! We had an amazing time using all of the amenities this place had to offer: smores, fire pit, hot tub, cornhole, darts, etc! Everything was very clean and there were so many little touches that we appreciated, like laundry pods and dog treats. Being able to bring our dog is a huge plus and she never wanted to come inside because it was so beautiful and nice out in the backyard! Having it fenced in was great so we knew she was safe at all times.

This is our 4th time to stay at VERO Ranch and walking in reminded us of the first time, knowing the few days there would be many moments of relaxing and enjoying the beauty outside, especially sunrise having our coffee on the patio. It is an amazing place outside of town to rest and take it all in, even spotting deer roaming. This beautiful, sparkling clean home provides everything you need. We will return.

Family Christmas Get Away

Wonderful location. It is far enough away from town to be quiet yet close enough to run in for shopping and eating. Very well stocked and VERY clean. We brought our grown children and dogs and all were thrilled. The yard is fantastic to let the dogs run, the hot tub is sparkling clean, and the ranch is comfortable for a family. We will definitely be back.

Great stay

The house accommodate seven adults very comfortably. It was very clean and had everything we would need and more. All the beds and rooms are super cute and comfortable. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the games, hot tub and fire pit. It was nice that we had plenty of privacy since we had no neighbors. The open fresh air and beautiful scenery of wild flowers was the best! I will definitely be booking again next year!

Highly recommend NOT staying in this house. First was initially overcharged by over 400 on a 3 night stay as they charged extra fees not detailed in the listing, which specifically stated at time we booked, “all fees included”. After weeks of back and forth, VRBO refunded the 400. Then at time of check-in we were informed that there was a county ban on any fires, and we can’t use the fire pit. We had purchased and transported firewood, bringing a truck that we would not have needed for firewood and incurred extra expenses (firewood, gas & mileage). Fire ban had been in place as we found out later, a month before we booked it, the listing made no mention of this and zero communication until 3:00 pm day of check-in. Then when we arrived, we had to wait until 5:30 PM to enter the home, when check-in time was 4:00 PM due to the house still being cleaned. After making a 5 hour drive and needing to use the restroom this was not just a minor inconvenience. Then after the stay, we were charged an additional 300, for what the management company said was a pet fee, for a 3 night stay. The house, listed as pet friendly and again, the listing at the time of booking stated “all fees were included” in the daily rate/price. I raised issue with management company, thus far they’ve not responded. Subsequently, I now see that they have updated listing and removed comment of all fees included and NOW note a pet fee. However, I have screen shots of listing prior to our stay. STAY AWAY!!

The 9 of us and our small dog had a "wonderful" time at Vero Ranch for 4 nights! The property was well stocked, comfortable and very enjoyable. The outside fenced yard had a great patio, hot tub, corn hole, fire pit and porch swing. We loved playing with all the games inside and outside.
