Wow! Catch fish from the dock or one of the supplied boats, or, watch Canadian geese and ducks and cavort from the comfort of your back-porch. Stay out all day if you wish on Lake Jordan (Thousands of Acres of water).
Hungry? Grill the fish you caught with the supplied gas grill, or, go grab a sandwich at the cross-roads (Kim's Corner, Subway Subs, Dollar General), or, grab a meal at the Woodcraft Cafe back down the road (yum!), or at one of the eateries in Wetupmka.
Alternately, you can simply cook up something from the fridge in the clean and fully-equipped kitchen (Fridge, Oven/Range, Micro-wave, Toaster Oven, Waffle-iron).
Shopping? Head north to Clanton or Syllacaga (great pizza)! Make sure to pick up some peach Ice cream from Clanton on your way back (they are famous for it).
Walkable? Na, but very boat-able, and nice hike up the neighborhood road for a fantastic panoramic view of the lake (do it the evening as the sun dapples off the water). Close to Lake Martin as well (15 minutes away in case you have friends there).
Fully renovated vintage property decked-out in cool-blue Heron House colors. Hunkered down in the hill-side, the great-room downstairs is naturally cool in the Summer (like a wine-seller), and the view out and off the back is very natural, calming, and un-forgettable. When the sun goes down in the evening, its light dapples off the water like a million-million diamonds.
Very popular, "5 star" property, so book now.
