About this property

The Gold Hill House sits atop a slope overlooking a railroad, pasturelands with a herd of “Oreo” cows and a large scenic backyard. This home accommodates six guests for relaxing weekends, just outside the bustle of Auburn but close enough for a short drive into town whether it be Auburn or Opelika. Our home is less than 10 miles from the AU campus and 10 miles from shopping and restaurants in Tiger Town. Kitchen views are breathtaking! Don’t forget to peek at the sunset during your stay!

Great place!

This place has all the charm you’d hope for in a 1906 country home, but all the modern amenities you’d want/need. It’s just a short 10 min drive into Auburn, where we spent most of our time. But on a very busy football weekend, we enjoyed getting out of the hustle & bustle!

Amazing house!

Close enough to Auburn for convenience but far enough away from the chaos on a football weekend to make it a perfect location and relaxing time! Will definitely try and stay here again

Fantastic stay!

House was immaculate. Nice touches in the kitchen. Porch was fantastic to sit on. Easy to get to and quiet after a busy day on campus. Would definitely stay again when we are visiting Auburn. Thanks Sheri!

Country Charm

This house was the perfect venue for our family while visiting the Auburn area. It has a wonderful blend of original charm and modern conveniences which made the whole place inviting and comfortable. The host was very responsive if we had any questions and very accommodating when we wanted to host a luncheon for other family members staying in the area . I would definitely book again if we need a place to stay in the Auburn area!
