The house is very nice. Although the carpet looks old and worn, it was very clean when I stayed. The house is old and rustic, but has many updated, modern features. I enjoyed the clean, comfortable bed and the quiet of the place (I was the only guest the night I stayed). I had trouble with key code to unlock the door when I first arrived, but when I called Craig, he walked me through it and even reset the code when it didn't work. The property is beautiful. I needed a place to stay overnight where I could cook my own food and this place definitely fit the bill. I wish I could have stayed longer. I'll keep it on my list for future stays.
Needed a place to lay our heads for 1 night in Etna prior to picking our daughter up from summer camp. The Aspen Room at the Bluebird Inn did not disappoint. Very comfortable bed in a really nice room. Craig and team do such a great job of making you feel welcome while allowing you to feel the privacy of your own residence. Coffee in the morning and breakfast at the bakery were fabulous. If you find yourself in this area, this is the place to stay. Too many good things going on here to mention but getting to know Craig and his family’s mission to make a difference in this world was a bonus!! I, for one, am a fan and cannot wait to find an excuse to be back in the Scott River Valley!!! Thank you Craig!
