While we will certainly keep the property in great shape and good repair, I doubt that we will spend much on upgrades. Hi John, Glad to hear you had a great time on St Croix. Nice condo choice too...great view, 3rd floor privacy.... Sorry about all the grief VRBO gave you...what a fiasco that was. Used to be a great platform back in the day when it was just VRBO/Homeaway. Since Expedia bought it and starting making all their changes it has gone straight down the ole crapper. My grandpa used to say " boy, if it ain't broke don't f*&% with it " LOL Anyway, we got it sorted and next time just call me up...you got my number :) see you then ! Earl

I do apologize that the cleaners were still there when you arrived. Unfortunately, there ARE times when we are busy that the cleaners get behind schedule. The man you saw was the owner of the cleaning service trying to expedite cleaning so that you would have a clean unit. He explained that to you and apologized saying they would be out of your way as soon as possible. The beds had not been made when you arrived as the linens were in the dryer. The floor had not been mopped yet as that is the last thing that is done as the cleaners work their way out. The lockbox was not broken. The cleaner watched you open the lockbox and take the key out. When I arrived to inspect the unit the next morning, I found the lockbox cover on the ground. I put it back onto the lockbox and it worked just fine. You questioned the cleaner as to why he had keys to the unit and said you were uncomfortable that you did not have the only key(s). I explained you that the cleaners have access so that they can clean in between guest. I also have backup keys for emergencies such as when a guest gets locked out or loses a key. There was the key in the lockbox when you arrived and 1 extra on the breakfast bar. You left with both keys and still have not returned them. This is exactly why we have spare keys.
