Amazing unique castle experience “Scarlet Manor” 5 bedroom/ 5 bath

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, just 5 miles from the University of Oklahoma and 20 miles to downtown Oklahoma City area, we bring you, Scarlet Manor. Exclusive high end castle home showcased on HGTV during the remodel and now famous from Zillow Gone Wild. It isn’t just a normal stay this is an experience! 5 bedrooms 5 bathrooms and sleeps 12 comfortably. You will find countless treasures shipped over from Europe as decor but also built in. It’s a smart home with the lighting, sound, shower systems, theatre and even a heated “throne” (toilet). Romantic and perfect for anniversary getaways, family staycations, girls wine tasting weekends, guys poker nights, and let’s not forget OU football games.

It has a wine room, theatre room, wet bar area, large dining room that seats 14, massive game room, billiard room, exercise area, office, library, outdoor inground, pool ( seasonal only May to September not heated), waterfall hot tub, fire pits, outdoor kitchen and grill, air hockey, ping pong table, and gourmet kitchen.

*Parties and events are not allowed according to the City of Norman ordinances and this wouldn’t be a house to “rough house” in. So please keep that in mind. Lots of stained glass features and lighting. There are no fences or any gates of any kind around the pool area, so you would need to pay close attention to small children or anyone unable to swim. The main floor does have everything one would need if they didn’t want to climb stairs ( living, bedroom, bathrooms, kitchen) but the game room is up many stairs to the 2nd floor. We do have several outdoor cameras (none inside). They include the front door Ring, and one pointing to each side of the house. None pointing to the hot tub or pool area. Minimum age to book is 28. ID will be required after booking ( a selfie holding your government issued ID to prove you are actually you) and then a close up of your ID as well. No 3rd party bookings allowed. No smoking allowed inside the house at all. No pets allowed. We ask for very minimal noise outside since it’s in a neighborhood and we’d like to maintain a good relationship with all neighbors. Once inside, that’s where you can make noise. Please be mindful of this. If we get complaints from neighbors of it being too noisy, we will ask you to lower the volume if necessary or even leave if this is not followed or respected. Please understand how important this is before booking. We want you to have fun, relax, enjoy but above all be respectful to the house and neighbors most importantly. We ask no more than 6 cars at any given time. There is very limited parking. You can park on the street, but again we do not want to be a bother to neighbors with constant numerous cars coming and going. Please note: this is supposed to feel like an old castle inside. It will appear darker than you are used to. There are so many areas of this large home that has decor high up, you may see a spider web or dust at times. Just being honest and upfront. It’s ridiculously large and a high maintenance home in every way. You will need patience and understanding on many areas ( light switches, smart showers, high end appliances etc). They are fun but it may take you a minute figure things out. It’s not your “normal” house. I will send out a long informational email once booked and also give tips in rooms where it may be needed. We are also just a call / text away if you have questions and will have a local representative handy if you need assistance too that can come show you the ins and outs of the home. We fell in love with it when we first saw it and we hope you do too! It may be a bit further out ( from OKC) but I can assure you it’s worth the extra 20 mins.

The 2 story master en-suite has a King bed and a shower and separate bathtub area (it fills the tub from the ceiling) very unique and fun!

bedroom 5) Queen bed with an attached side bedroom that has twin bunks ( suitable for 2 children).

There are 5 bathrooms total in the home. 2 are half baths and the other 3 are full bathrooms.
Must be 28 years old to book. No 3rd party bookings. Selfie holding ID required before door code will be given, will need to be sent before arrival. Strict no party or events allowed. No weddings ( please don’t even ask). No smoking in house. No pets. 6 cars max. No rough housing inside. Too many breakables ( stained glass etc). No throwing balls or anything inside etc. 2 night minimum booking. Quiet outside for the neighbors. If excessive noise reported you will be asked to leave.

We use the garage for storage, so unfortunately no garage access for guests! Thank you!
