Luxury Trail Creek ski home + shuttle 2king & 3twin beds sauna hot tub end unit

This is an end unit with no one above or below you. It is important not to rent a unit with anyone above you especially in ski season due to noise.

There is a sauna in the unit that is private and also one in the amenity building but there is NOT a Jacuzzi in unit just a very large tub but the tub in unit is NOT a jacuzzi there is a jacuzzi in the amenity building

Fire code max 8 adults /guests I have bunk beds now in the one room so I have one set of twin bunks and two twin beds in that room so sleeping for 4 persons

then master king bedroom and third bedroom has king bed plus sofa sleeper in living room

Totally Renovated: 3 bedroom 3 bathroom, there is an additional bathroom with a sauna LARGE tub NOT a Jacuzzi tub, and shower.

Large entry: has a bench, coat rack, area for skis and boots. Washer and dryer off the entry.

Bedrooms: Master is downstairs with a king bed and private bath.Both king bedroom have new memory foam mattresses. Master bedroom has a ceiling fan. Two bedrooms upstairs one has a king bed the other has two twin beds and a twin loft type bed. King bedroom downstairs/upstairs have a memory foam mattress that will be new in June along with the new king bed furniture, coverlets,down comforters, luxury duvets, and luxury pillows. Blackout drapes are in the master and king bedrooms. All bedrooms have flat screen TV’s and DVD players.

Wood burning fireplace with wood provided. New glass tile hearth absolutely stunning unit.

Baths: 2 custom Mosaic tiled showers, mater has an oversize shower with Speakman shower head tiled floors and granite tops in the sink area. The Upstairs shower has a rain bath showerhead, marble flooring and marble sink area. The Jacuzzi, sauna and shower bath has wood flooring. The sauna holds 4 people comfortably.

Living room: LARGE flat screen TV, with DVD player, CD player with nice stereo, ipad hook up and easy access game hook up cable provided. Wood burning fireplace with queen sleeper sofa. glass tiled hearth

Kitchen: Full size stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, toaster, granite counter tops. Counter with stools. Ample cooking and serving utensils. Open concept kitchen.

Dining Room: Seating for 8

Other: Full high-speed wireless internet in unit Games for the kids, adults, playing cards, markers, pencils, various office supplies along with printer paper for the printer.

lighting: High hat in ceiling lighting gives a modern feel in the kitchen and hall.

Provided: Firewood steps from the front door, fire starters, linens, towels, toiletries, laundry soap, dish soap, dish liquid, dish towels, paper towels, napkins, tissues, salt-pepper, assorted spices, tea, coffee, sugar, and Splenda.

Spring ski trip

This was a nice property to stay for my family’s spring ski trip to Killington. The townhome is a quiet end unit with a nice view of the forest and creek. It’s short walk to the Snowshed Basin area. The indoor pool and hot tub in the community building are a great place to relax after skiing all day.

Ski trip!

Fantastic location minutes from the slopes and only a few more from everything else! Shops, stores, ski and board repair any and everything you need for an awesome week at Killington! We will be back!

Great place for an extended family weekend!

Nice place, great location. East access to Killington. Very comfortable bed in the master BR!!Good space for an extended family. Kim was very communicative through the entire process,We did try to get back via the train to the back of the property -- very tough if there is a lot of powder! Better off taking the green trail to the parking lot.

Great location

Weather worked out well for us with enough snow to enjoy the ski home trail. Saves time in getting older kids back together at the same time to drive home.House was awesome and cozy. This is the second time using the same owner. We rented one of their other properties a few years ago. The new electronic locks makes things a lot easier and would definitely inquire about renting the location again.

Perfect Place

Great experience. Had trouble getting in at check in and host got right back to us. Place was clean and as advertised. Price was fair and all went well. Will definitely book here again if going to Killington area!

Great unit for location and size

This unit is a nice size and was very spacious for the 6 adults that were there for a wedding. The walk down the path is not bad, except if you have an older person with you, but the privacy of the end unit is worth it!

Great trip!

We enjoyed our long weekend at Killington very much. It was what we were hoping for and more for a fun, relaxing and comfortable stay. Very nice place with everything you would need, great location, very easy check in and out.

Lovely vacation

Enjoyed our stay

Very convenient location. We took the shuttle to base lodge and skied home. Unit had everything we needed. Very comfortable. Kim was very thorough and helpful throughout the process. Would stay here again.

Nice condo next to Killington

Easy to get to all Killington/Pico lifts. It is a long-ish walk from the car to the end unit- so if you have impaired-family members be careful if there is snow/ice. well stocked kitchen/ supplies. nice to have a tv with channels.

Trail creek stay

The condo is very clean. The kitchen is equipped with every cooking tool ever needed. The owner was easy to communicate with and quickly answered any inquiry I had. I have skied at killington for over forty years and have stayed at many condos. This is an exceptional property very close to the mountain.

Convenient location and confortable accomodation

Trail creek is one oh the nearest location regarding the departure of ski lifts. The appartment is of a proper size and well equiped. The sauna offers e relaxation opportunity after skiing.

We had a wonderful ski vacation!

Kim’s home was clean and warm. It has a cozy sitting area with a fireplace stocked with a convenient woodpile, a tv, a comfy couch and a recliner chair. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. It was a pleasure skiing in to the home after a fun day on the slopes and relaxing with the family for the night.

Phenomenal Professional Host

This property is in a phenomenal location - the set of condos that is just off of snowshed mountain. 10 minute walk to the lifts, with a ski trail that leads you to a two minute walk back home in the evenings (with a shuttle if you prefer...although its slower than walking) the condo is very sizable and the hot tub / sauna was extremely relaxing after the day on the slopes!! Comfortable large beds, kitchen well equipped with essentials (both cookware and spices), unlimited firewood with fire starters.

Winter Wonderland

My family had a fantastic experience staying here. The place had everything needed and was cozy like home. The ski in ski out trail was closed while we were there but that didn’t even matter because we could still walk to main ski area base without a problem since the location was so close, just like I had hoped and expected. The only recommendation I would add was to add some hand rails by the walkway entrance as the steps there were slippery, but that would be to the condominium association and not the rental owner who held up everything on her end as agreed upon and described. Thanks again for everything, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable vacation. Cheers!

Great Home Base for Mountain Biking!

Kim was super easy to communicate with. I made a couple of mistakes in the booking process, which I’m sure we’re annoying, and she was very helpful even while juggling her demanding job. Place is great, exactly as described and the location is amazing if you’re doing anything on the mountain. I will note that there is no air-conditioning. I didn’t even think of looking, and it did get down to 65° the weekend we were there, but on hot summer days it could be an issue. Overall great!!!

Cleaning disaster!

Upon arrival late in the day, we arrived to an uncleaned 3 bedroom condo. Dirty towels, dirty floors, empty bottles, trash bag on kitchen counter and not a single bed made. Owners offer when contacted was to leave, clean ourselves or take a smaller condo. Her cleaning service was not available. Given time of day, guests still to arrive from other states and long drives, we opted for the smaller condo. However no adjustments to price. Very disappointed management of the condo services was not on site and lacking the experience we expected.

Lots of privacy and wooded views

We leveled our stay here. Even though the walk to the lift was farther than we thought we really enjoyed that this in an end unit and is 2 stories, therefore we never once heard or saw neighbors. Woke up to the snowy woods with the blinds up every morning. Tons of supplies in the kitchen, good water pressure, plenty of games and books. The one negative is this house does not have any smart TVs. So, o Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu, etc. There is basic cable and a DVD player. If I'd known in advance I would have brought my own Apple TV so we could rent and watch the movies we wanted. Other than that it was a great stay!

Dirty Rental and Hostile Host

We booked this property and certainly did not find it to be “luxury”. The property was very dirty… hair and dirt in the showers, crumbs all over the kitchen, dried food left caked on the kitchen utensils, dirty smudges on the refrigerators, dirty toilet flusher button. The master bathroom shower also did not drain properly so the water pooled up to our ankles. We rented the unit for a jammed packed wedding weekend so did not notify the owner about the conditions until after we left as we did not have time to coordinate the response. We also didn’t want to deal with leaving the property to have it cleaned again when it should have been in the first place. When we reached out after getting home to ask for our cleaning fee returned (not a full refund) she was aggressive, accusing us of being scammers and kept denying any issue even though we took pictures and offered to share with her. She claimed to have checked the until before we arrived so it is clear her standard for cleanliness is not on par with what is to be expected for a rental unit, especially one marketed as luxury. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

NOT A LUXURY EXPERIENCE! BUYER BEWARE!

This was nowhere near a luxury experience at all. To start, there is an indoor sauna that had mold with a dead mouse in it and mouse poop. Smelled horrible, the mouse had been dead for at least a few days + mold smell. We wouldn't let our kids even near that bathroom. The owner sent someone over to clean but they just picked up the mouse and left the mold and poop. When we asked him about the smell he told us to light a candle - so that's the solution, light a candle to mask the smell of death and mold in a luxury condo I paid $4k to stay in - great. Also FYI the hot tub listed is just a hot tub bathtub in the bathroom, not a hot tub you'd expect to use with other people on a ski trip. The recliner in the living room was completely busted and unusable. It had parts falling off of it, duct taped, wouldn't stay upright, and as soon as you would sit just recline all the way back upside down - if an adult sat on it it would tip all the way over backward. This thing looked 15 years old. But that's not the worst of it and what's prompted this review - THE OWNER TRIED TO CHARGE US $700 to replace HER BUSTED RECLINER! Luckily my husband took pictures when we checked in since it was so bad and AMEX shut that down. There were also wet linens left in the washer and the upstairs TV didn't work properly. We have pictures of everything but VRBO doesn't let you attach images to reviews or I'd share. Buyer Beware

I picked this unit for its convenient location for me to pilot my citation 2 at least once per month during the ski season from my home in Miami. There is a little bit of something for everyone at this mountain. Steep bumpy trails to easier green and blue cruisers. Convenient access on this side of the mountain with access to many bars and restaurants. You are right next door to the Killington Grand which has a nice spa for all types of services and a restaurant and bar.

Why they chose this property

I chose this vacation rental for its location and proximity to the Killington ski slopes. It is also very private with no one above or below me in the condo so no noisy ski boot noise from the above unit. It has a patio off the living room that opens up to a stream on two sides of the property. One of the ski home trails in my backyard access difficult if there is a lot of snow. What makes this property unique

You can ski home via the snowshed trail. There are two options: one that says trail creek that is a green easy trail all the way to the bridge that crosses into the Trail Creek complex. Be very carful at the bridge snowboarders like to build jumps right before the bridge. Otherwise this trail is easy to navigate. The other option is the ski home for wiffletree that is more of a blue trail not for steepness but is more narrow, it end up near my back door. But you must go towards the road a bit to cross the stream. DO NOT TRY TO CROSS the stream itself. All units are privately owned renovation vary DRAMATICALLY so please make sure you look at the pictures to get what you are looking for.
