Backyard Bungalow was the perfect little get away. Had everything we needed and best of all it was close to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We had a great weekend of biking on the trail. Thank you to the hosts!
This bungalow has everything a person needs. It’s very cute and very clean. It is a small space, but all necessities were thoughtfully provided for. As a solo traveler I felt safe there, and the outside was well lit.
This little bungalow was perfect for my sister and me. Everything was clean and convenient with plenty of extra linens, etc. Owners we’re friendly and accommodating. Would stay again!
What a great place to stay for walkers or bicyclists planning to walk/ride the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The house is near the middle of the trail with easy access. Cute decor and super host.
We loved how thoughtful and well designed this tiny house was. We went to Greenville to check out the bike trail and use our new e-bikes - this location was convenient, clean and super sweet.
We were so blessed to stay at the bungalow! It provided the perfect cozy retreat for my husband and I! Valia and Joel were so accommodating and willing to be flexible due to some unfortunate weather that came up through both of our cities. Thank you for the hospitality!
Although it’s a very small place, it sleeps three very comfortable as advertised. They provide a very comfortable cot and a spacious bed that sleeps two. Everything was clean and the decorations were very Qwaint. Great getaway and a wonderful location. Highly recommend you check it out.
We road the swamp rabbit trail several times and it was a blast. Not hilly at all and places to eat/browse along the way. The tiny house, emphasis on tiny, where we stayed was delightful. Lots of quirky art work, mostly created by the owners, were most enjoyable. While the owners made good use of the space it is still very intimate. All in all we enjoyed our stay and plan to come again.
The location was amazing. It had two extremely close and easy ways to jump on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The space was clean, excellent linens and decorated in amazing ways (think I want to redecorate after being there). A private marked parking spot by the door and well lit. Extra linens, towels and supplies just in case. We cannot wait to return!!!
We stayed just one night and it was perfect.
Very clean. Well organized. Easy in and out. Water pressure was great. And after a long day drive and staying up late for a concert in the downtown area coming back to a super quiet area was the best. I got a great nights sleep because the bed was not to soft and not to firm or squeaky. Temperature was easily controlled and it was super dark. Woke up ready for the long drive home.
Bliss . I will absolutely Return in the future to this beautiful wee spot of heaven. The design and lay out is amazing! All the little details . The property owners and their wee doggo are the type of people you hope n pray to meet on your travels . So genuine and authentic and eager to help and so so kind ,I truly feel blessed that I was able to stay here for the time I have . It’s gonna be dang hard to beat this experience:) also if you’re thinking you gotta be downtown green I’ll ….you don’t :) I had no car and was on foot on Lyft /Uber and I got around fine and the neighborhood here is sooo lovely for a wee chill walk . Book it you won’t regret :)

About the host

I hail from northern Indiana and my husband is from Michigan. We met and married in Greenville. We love hanging out with friends and family and enjoy going to the local hockey games and concerts at the Bon Secours Arena nearby. I love hosting and meeting new people!
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because we knew Greenville would grow and it would be an up and coming spot. It’s the perfect location between Greenville and Travelers Rest.
What makes this property unique
We renovated our property with a getaway in mind. We have made it someplace where you can come and just relax or make it a base station for your weekend activities. Since we are near the Swamp Rabbit Trail and located in the historic Union Bleachary neighborhood we also wanted to incorporate some of the local history into our decor.
