Never deal with Viagem again.
*. Our dealing with VIagem was not satisfactory. Before the trip began I received a sheet about the rental from both VRBO and Viagem. It was very confusing-and there was no/zero information about the 2 different sources. I had initially booked thru VRBO, suddenly dealing with Viagem…. Did I double book? What happened? Why both. Never happened before and I still have no answers, except that you had my money and I was confused.
*. The day before our “move in” date we went there to make sure we could be quick as we were expected to be somewhere else shortly after checking in. WELL, that was a cluster. We weren’t sure exactly where our unit was since we had different numbers on the different papers from Viagem and VRBO. With whom do we communicate? How do we communicate? We were pretty much in the dark. We finally did manage to text someone who also was confused and gave us a couple of unit numbers and building numbers to try. It took hours, and it was still the day before.
*. Move in Day: We rushed over right at the time we were told. We texted and waited. As I said, we had someplace to be and were in a hurry. NO HURRYING THIS GROUP!! It took a long time to make sure we had the correct unit and the key code. We hurriedly took the luggage up to the unit, THE DOOR WON’T LOCK!! Are you kidding???
* Texted again, with a very slow response-I’ll get someone. No way!! We ran to the hardware store to buy the battery, ran h
