Relax on the patio on the bank of the Williams River to watch the leaves turn, explore hiking trails, enjoy the outdoor fire pit, and mnt bike. Play soccer on indoor turf or corn hole in the rec room—half mi. from outdoor ice skating, disk golf, and VAST. Our three-bedroom home has one1 bunk room, two rooms overlooking the Williams River, and two full bathrooms- perfect for a family getaway. Enjoy grilling on the private back patio.
Just 15 minutes to Magic & 20 minutes to Okemo. The historic Town of Chester is an amazing destination to visit during the fall and winter months.

Great place!

Everything was perfect. The house was clean and spacious. The indoor playroom was clutch and the river out back was really nice to have close. There is plenty to do locally and there are lots of places to eat and play. We love coming to VT to visit family and this is the first time we’ve rented. We hope to return to this place in the future. The host was very responsive and helpful when called upon.

Lovely ski and hiking weekend

We enjoyed our stay here for a long weekend with a group of five adults. The house was more than large enough and comfortable — the photos are accurate. Sarah was an accommodating and responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway

Myself and two boys stayed here for a long ski weekend. The room with the turf was perfect for them to burn off energy after a long car ride. The river is beautiful. The house had everything we needed. Would stay again definitely.

Wonderful Family Weekend

We had a fantastic stay. Sarah was a gracious host, who was easy to communicate with. The house was much larger than we expected. There was more than enough room for us (four adults and two kids). We spent hours running around the turf room, playing soccer and hanging in the living room off of it, to burn off the rest of our energy after skiing. We could not have asked for a better space and look forward to making more family memories here in the future!

Great location for ski trip

We had a great stay here for a quick trip to Okemo, which is about 22 minutes away. House was perfect for our small group and we liked the family room area, although with fresh snow we were all exhausted from skiing and didn’t use it much. The inner breezeway was nice to leave our snow covered and sometimes dirty shoes in which kept the house clean and clear. We would definitely stay here again. Great communication with the host who allowed a late check out. Did at the Scottish pub in Chester was very good too.

Beautiful property. Large House!

The house is sooooo large. It has so much extra room. Our kids enjoyed indoor soccer. Everything is very thoughtful, clean, and tasteful. Close to Mount Snow and Okemo. Will come back.

Awesome Location to Access Okemo and Other Resorts!

My group of 5 adults (brother and friends) stayed her for 5 days, with 3 days on Okemo, and we loved every bit! Spacious and well-kept home on a beautiful lot, backing to a river that provided an absolutely serene experience. Just an easy 20 minutes from Okemo, with wonderful little shops along the way (endless supply of Vermont maple!). Wonderful and accommodating hosts made our stay positively stress-free. Home equipped with modern tech that made check in/out super easy, as well as access to strong wifi and personal streaming services that auto-cleared when we left. We absolutely want to return next year for another awesome stay! Thank you!!!

Beautiful home and property in a convenient location

We drove up from Connecticut for a wedding in Rockingham. The house is not far off the exit off of I-91, and just outside the charming town of Chester. The property is beautiful, with a back patio and fire pit overlooking the river. The house is equipped with everything we needed for our stay: bedding, towels, extra blankets, and a kitchen fully stocked with anything we needed for cooking our own meals. We were able to log into our own streaming services to watch TV, which I thought was a great touch! Chester has a few awesome spots to eat, We tried Maria's Mexican for dinner, and Country Girl Diner for breakfast, both a quick 5 minute drive from the house, and both had amazing food. It's not ski/snowboard season yet, but perfect timing for fall foliage. Okemo Mountain is about a 20-25 minute drive, and we were able to drive all the way up to the Summit. The view is unbelievable. Magic Mountain is also super close, about 10-15 minutes. We plan to come back during the winter for snowboarding. We didn't have a chance to use the rec room, but can't wait to play some ping pong when we return. The hosts provided everything we needed and were responsive to any questions we had. We can't wait to stay again!

It’s quiet, peaceful property with a scenic view. We appreciate Sarah’s hospitality; Cleanliness & overall space. There’s a fun game room w big tv, bar, couches. For the smaller room I’d suggest something for clothes, a luggage rack, shelves or xtra hooks; to me the room seems warmer so regular sheets.
