LAKE HOUSE AND PONTOON BOAT IN BEAUTIFUL POE CREEK COVE AT LAKE GASTON

This is a great vacation home on the perfect Poe Creek! The house has 3 floors with great views on every floor. A renovation and addition was completed on the house May 2016.

Big spacious 2020 Benington 25’ Tri-toon with a 150 h.p. Yamaha engine available to rent. It can fit up to 14 people. Bluetooth stereo, fish finder/depth gauge, ski bar, table, bimini top. Boat includes all safety equipment including life jackets. Local rentals charge $2,000+ week, this boat is available at $1,500 per week (summer season rate) and at the dock when you get there! The boat rental fee for off-season months is $250 per night and is required for the entirety of your stay- no partial rentals. Boat rental is available March-November. The boat is not included in the rental fee, so please make sure to inquire about adding on the boat rental if you choose to. If you choose to rent the boat, you must do so for the entirety of your stay.

MAIN FLOOR is an open floor plan with a 47' LCD TV, Blu-ray player, open family room, updated kitchen, full bath and 2 bedrooms (one queen bed, one king bed). The main deck area off the house is on this floor with a 480 sq. ft. screened in porch and gas grill.

UPSTAIRS: Has 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The master has a beautiful view of the lake with a queen bed. The other bedroom sleeps 6 in bunk beds.

BASEMENT: Has a pool table with a convertible ping pong table, large flat screen TV, blu ray DVD, large leather sectional, 2 bedrooms, full bath and the laundry room. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other has a queen-size bed and a bunk bed. Added in May 2023, Multicade Arcade Machine with Pacman and 40 other games. There is also an additional refrigerator for use in the basement.

OUTSIDE: The boat house was rebuilt in March 2017. The boat house has a covered area with two boat lifts and a slip to the side to tie up a 3rd boat or jet ski. There are 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards. The boat lift, kayaks, and paddle boards are available for use. The main deck on the lower level is spacious and has a covered picnic table and a diving board. The swimming area is private and protected from boats by the neighboring property. The water is shallow at the bulkhead for younger children to stand in and swim and the water at the end of the dock is 12 feet deep for the diving board and jumping off the top deck.

Pickleball Court beginning in September of 2024. We have made a Pickleball Court in our cul-da-sac (see pictures). Renters are required to provide your own net and racquets and balls.

There are 2 marinas on the lake for gas, good food and boat rentals. This house is honestly one of the best coves on the lake!

The boat ramp is about 7 miles away from house. Take highway 158 toward Roanoke Rapids. Turn left onto Myrick Estates Rd and then right on Bluebird Rd which will take you to the ramp.
