Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Jim

Hi - I'm currently living in Tyler and enjoy spending time in Galveston whenever possible. When I'm not at the house I enjoy letting others enjoy their time there. I enjoy hosting as much as I enjoy traveling myself.
Why they chose this property
I love the East end of the Island for its architecture and old town charm. The San Jacinto neighborhood is quiet but yet only a couple minutes walk to the seawall and less than a mile to the downtown Strand. You are also surrounded by great neighbors and nice homes.
What makes this property unique
The outdoor space at the beach house consists of over 500 sq. feet of upper & lower decks for sunning, lounging, dining and grilling. The central AC keeps the house cold while the sun shines on the upper deck and the string lights add atmosphere to the lower deck's night life.
