About this property

Our tranquil cabin getaway is located on the Sturgeon River in Northern Michigan. A classic log cabin in a perfect setting on 119ft. of the Sturgeon river. In the middle of the inland water route that includes several rivers and 4 of MI largest & most beautiful lakes. River rafting, hiking, biking and snowmobile trails are plentiful. A private dock allows access to your low profile boat. Navigate by river from the cabin to Burt Lake using kayak, canoe, raft or low profile boat. Lovely place to relax and watch the rafters go by.

Family getaway

The river front location was a huge hit with the kids and the adults. Tubed down the river for about an hour (in very cold water) right to the dock in front of the property. Nice restaurants and a market very close. Easy day trips to Petosky, Cheboygan and Mackinac Island.

Remodeled log cabin on the Sturgeon river. Fish right off the deck or relax under the shade trees and watch the rafters go by. Walking distance to downtown Indian River. Great restaurants and shopping. Plenty of trails for biking, hiking and snow mobiles. Access Burt Lake, Mullet Lake and Crooked Lake. Such a peaceful relaxing atmosphere.
