Farmhouse

The main level was very clean and comfortable. You could tell that the home was being renovated and wasn’t far from being completed. We enjoyed our stay in this cozy little farmhouse.

Farmhouse

Lower level of house was very nice. Should get Wi-Fi or atleast a attena for the tvs. Need new beds upstairs hard as rocks. Need ceiling fans in bedrooms upstairs very warm up there. Dog kennel outside grass was a foot long. No gate to get into dog kennel from outside.

Not as pictured, no AC, and MICE!

Not as pictured/described, photos were done in such a way as to hide a lot of the unfinished messy areas of the house. When we walked inside it appeared that the home was being refinished. To me that means that it is not ready to rent! The toilet had spray foam around the base, the upstairs had exposed plywood covering the roof as well as more foam around one of the windows the other was broken and could not be opened. They had flipped the staircase and had not bothered to fix the plaster that they tore off. There was no AC, and it was close to 90 degrees in the house! No where in the description did it state there was NO AC! The two upstairs bedrooms were so small that the trundle beds would not pull out all the way so due to the heat and lack of bed space 2 of our party had to sleep on the floor in the living room downstairs. The fridge and freezer were full of old expired food. We had to go through it ourselves to make room for our own fresh food. There was no outside trashcan, so the trash sat inside, and by the end it was smelling up the house. Mice ate our dry goods, and they were thrown away. The house was well stocked, but everything was mismatched and random. All of the bath towels, while clean, were old, and well worn. While they worked and we used them they were a little less than nice, it did not really feel like a vacation. We could not come back after a day of activities and relax in the house because it was so uncomfortable. I took pics but now to post them.

This home did not have a second exit door that worked and most windows did not work or were very hard to open. We understood it was a work in progress but we didn't know it would be unsafe. We tried opening the side door and it was nailed shut, it could not be open from inside or outside. There were many exposed wires and uncovered outlets. Also a broken light bulb stuck in its socket in the bathroom. The home was hot and smelled like wet dog from not being able to open windows. An old used dog bed and kennel were in the living room. The upstairs was very hot due to lack of air flow. Old food left in the fridge. When we booked this home we were told there were 5 beds. 4 twins, 1 full. When we arrived there were only 3 beds. Two bedrooms did not have doors so there was a big lack in privacy. We weren't updated about this before hand. Ultimately we decided we could not stay because of the fire harazad in the case of emergency. We were looking for a safe, comfortable place to stay and this was not it.
