Good location for us. Hosts allowed us to have an early check in which really helped. I had trouble accessing the check in info on my phone, (password wouldn't take) so the lack of info was on me. Place very clean. The heavily scented sheets on the bed was a real issue. I would suggest using unscented laundry detergent.
Everything was great except internet was not working most of my stay

Love the vibe! SO much better than staying in a hotel! Huge, bright and clean loft was perfect for my 5 day visit to Halifax I’m originally from Halifax, recently retuned for a visit. Walkable to Public Gardens, Spring Garden Road, Dalhousie campus, Argyle Street, Scotia Square. Safe on-street overnight parking on Pepperell. Will definitely stay here again!
A very nice unit - great layout & a convenient location. Lots of light! Communication with host was quite good.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
This listing is not as it is advertised on the site and, despite its handy location, I would not reccomend it to others: some of the furniture (kitchen tables) was broken and collapsed when sitting on them; the dishwasher has been broken for some time, the chair in the bedroom is stained and filthy. The host was either dismissive or unresponsive (telling me to go buy my own tea towels if I needed them to dry the dishes I had to hand wash), key supplies promised were missing (laundry detergent, fabric softener, oven mitts), the heat in the main area does not work and probably hasn't for some time based on the portable heaters in the living room. The host did not respond to my request to ensure the passage door from the street to the building actually locked (as advertised) for 20 hours until I escalated to VRBO - then they actually addressed the issue. This was not a good rental experience and I would caution others to avoid it.
Great spot, great location, would definitely stay again. If you're up for the steps, I consider it walking distance to all the best of Halifax with being right on Quinpool and so centrally located between north end, downtown, & spring garden. A short Uber anywhere otherwise. Comfortable stay, everything we needed.
Loved staying in Quinpool near the Citadel, some great vegan restauants, and just a 20-25 min walk from the harbourfront. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Only downsides were lack of light-blocking window shade so bedroom was quite light at night from parking lot and in morning from sun, and noise from parking lot outside which is adjacent to Dominos Pizza so there were people talking, vehicles entering/leaving late at night and garbage pick up very early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, don't stay in unit 1!
Very good central location. Walking distance to university and down town. Very close to local pub, neighborhood coffee shop, pharmacy and grocery store. Apartment clean and comfortable. I’m not sure why it’s advertised as “lofts” since my place was an apartment. One limitation is that apartment faces a major street and with so much window space the glare from the street lights keep the bedroom bright for entire night. Blinds were not that effective keeping brightness from street lights out.
