About this property

Our mountain cabin, The Timbers, is our home away from home when we want to get out of the summer heat, hike with the family, have a vacation with friends or hit the slopes at Sunrise Mountain.

We take pride in our modernized cabin and provide multiple above and beyond amenities for you to enjoy. Whether you are bringing multiple families (enough room for 2-3 families), a small group of friends, or wanting a retreat for a few weeks in the mountains, our cabin is well-suited for you and very close to golf, hiking, ATV/UTV trails and of course Sunrise Ski & Park Resort (one of the largest, closets cabins)!

The great room has a 70" smart tv (4 total TVs in home), wood burning fireplace, leather sectional, and comfortable easy chair. The dining space has built-in banquette seating and plenty of chairs for everyone to gather. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, utensils, pantry items, coffee pods, glasses, kids dishes and cutlery. We know you will find this main gathering space comfortable and oh-so-cozy!

All bedrooms have ample closets, (3 are big enough to put a pack-n-play inside) new mattresses, crisp white sheets and duvets with additional blankets. The bathrooms are stocked with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, all from Public Goods!

The kids' room is a must see! We have a custom built-in triple bunk bed with a queen bed attached. The KIDS CAVE ROOM is inside this room and provides a trundle bed with a Smart TV and Xbox 360! This area sleeps 7!

The game room is situated in the loft overlooking the family room and has ample games, puzzles, Legos, and comfortable chairs to read a book or two. Enjoy a competitive card game with friends or fun board game with family!

The back porch is equipped with a gas barbecue grill, chairs, and a gas firepit to encourage good food, storytelling and dreaming. You’ll especially enjoy the privacy of having no backyard neighbors!

During the day, take a walk along the quiet residential streets (safe for kids!) where you can admire all the different cabins and enjoy the clean mountain air. The White Mountains have miles of trails through the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine forests, and over 200 lakes and streams. Hundreds of miles of trails for UTVs / ATVs with access less than a mile away. At an elevation of 7,000 feet, it’s the perfect place to hike, mountain bike, fish, and ski or enjoy Live music at the Den (1.5 Miles away)!

The Cleanest!

I am also a rental property owner so I fully understand the process as well as the details. This place is probably the cleanest rental property we have ever stayed at! The location is central and close to everything. We thought we might be cramped with how many kids we’d had but the separate spaces were really great. The owner was also very considerate and great with communication. They are very considerate and generous with the towels, quality toilet paper, etc. 10/10 we definitely would stay here again! Thank you for hosting us!

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at this property for a guys trip. The home provided plenty of rooms for us that were spacious and comfortable. The house is kept perfectly clean and organized. I have already convinced my large family that we will be renting this cabin for a staycation. There is plenty of room for everyone and is close to many different avenues of entertainment. You can check out the local brewery, visit White Mountain (fun center), go hiking, or go explore some parks/playgrounds. I highly recommend this property to anyone.

Lovely home.

We visited Pine-top for a wedding in July. This home was absolutely perfect. We had ample space for our larger group. The kitchen had more than enough supplies to stay in and cook, along with the BBQ grill. We spent a lot of time on the back porch visiting and when it got chilly the propane fire pit was amazing. The bunk room would be perfect for a family with multiple kids. I personally slept in the upstairs queen room and it was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Overall cleanliness was spot on. Check in was a breeze and we were able to check in earlier than anticipated which was awesome. The host was super easy to communicate/work with! If we are ever back in the area this is the house we will book again.

We booked a much-needed girls trip to Pinetop-Lakeside and chose the Timbers! Ashley was super responsive from the beginning. She made the decision to book an easy one! We had 7 women with us for the weekend. The cabin was perfect! Super clean, spacious, adorable. The decor and attention to detail in every room of the cabin was immaculate. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities, and we had plenty of room to sleep, eat together, hang out on the patio with the fire, etc. Additionally, Ashley provided us with recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area, which we found super helpful! If you’re looking for the perfect place for a friends trip or for multiple families, it’s a no-brainer! We can’t wait to make this an annual trip!
