Lake Keowee Waterfront Clemson Retreat

Experience Hideaway Cove, a small gated, lakefront community developed on a 100-acre preserve in Seneca, SC, a short drive from Clemson University and located on the north side of Lake Keowee. Meander into the craftsman-style community winding through a spacious wooded landscape with waterfront, wildlife, and mountain views. "Tucked In The Woods," a rustic chic lakefront cottage, was custom built in 2020 on a peaceful, secluded acre lot in one of Lake Keowee's cove waterways. The main level features an open area living, 65" TV and sliding glass doors, chef's kitchen with large island and seating, dining space with a bar area, spacious pantry, and 1/2 bath. Two master suites on the main floor have lakefront views and walk-in closets. The downstairs area features a second large living space with large TV with Direct TV streaming access, wet bar, microwave, full-size refrigerator, and two lakefront bunk room suites with full over full beds. Reconnect with nature, family, and friends to enjoy treetop views and lakefront solitude. Take a swim or enjoy time on the dock, elevated covered porch with plenty of seating, sunrise views, and an open-air patio perfect for morning yoga, happy hour cocktails, cornhole, and porch swing conversations.

PLEASE NOTE: Guests are permitted to bring their own boat or a rental boat to use during their stay. The BOAT, BOAT LIFT and JET SKI ON THE DOCK IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR GUEST USE. DO NOT USE THE FIRE KETTLE/PIT. No pets due owner allergy requirements. Minimum 4 night rental during the months of June-August.

Great stay at Sydney's property, easily accommodated multi-generation group for a three-night Thanksgiving stay. Even though it was too cold to really enjoy the lake the home, the views, the vibe, the kindness of the host more than offset that and made for a simply wonderful stay! Can't wait to come back sometime in the summer.

Gorgeous home and property

The house was amazing and perfect for what we were looking for. The layout and rooms were extremely comfortable. I have never found a home with a private bathroom for each bedroom! I can’t say enough about the house. It is a solid 30 minutes to the Clemson campus, which was fine, once we made the drive once; we got used to the distance and felt like we were getting away from the hectic pace of graduation. Thank you for allowing us to rent this beautiful house!

Amazing house

Perfect weekend retreat! The house was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed for an amazing weekend on the lake. The kitchen has everything you could need or want, the beds are comfortable, and the house is situated on a quiet inlet that was easily accessible by boat but not a high traffic area. Everyone had a great time fishing and swimming off the dock and taking in the lake views from the deck. The neighbors were also very friendly and welcoming to our big group of adults and kids.

Our family enjoyed our time at together Tucked. The house was clean, extremely well stocked and apportioned. The layout was great and our kids loved the oversized bunk beds. The contact was responsive to the few questions we had and all went smoothly. The dock was perfect for our boat and we were had no problem mooring our boat. The front yard allowed for easy trailer storage. The fishing in the back cove is good. We caught a number of bass during our time there at the dock and along the bank. Those things said, please note that the house is in a very active construction zone. Overall a fun time with our family in a beautiful home.

CU Graduation Weekend

Simply put, this was an amazing house for our special weekend at Clemson. We have rented many times over the years, and stayed at nice places, but this was a very clean, very well stocked home on the lake. It had every amenity that was advertised and more. The privacy and gated entry provided an extra level of security that we didn’t expect. Great home, great stay and highly recommend this location for a family looking for a luxury stay on Lake Keowee!

Absolutely perfect!

The house was perfect for our vacation! The hosts were so responsive, available, and kind! The house was gorgeous, very clean, and so well appointed! My kids asked for me to buy the amenities they had there for our house! The access to the lake was easy and we had fun swimming from the dock! The decks were great! The extra touches and the attention to detail with the kind responses from the host makes this a place we would ABSOLUTELY love to come back to!! Thank you for sharing this home with us. Annual Lake Week/Staycation

We had a nice July 4th week at the lake. We lived on Keowee years ago but never visited this area of the lake. It seems to be newer neighborhoods. This neighborhood is very secluded, tucked within several no wake coves, very calm and about 15 mins from the main channel. The home is super cute and well designed for multiple families! I love the identical master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Great idea. The steps on the steep hill from the dock are well maintained and pretty wide. Bedding, linens, towels, furniture all felt clean! Home appears as it does in pictures!! :)

Tucked in the Woods: A Dream Rental House

Our family stay was an unforgettable experience. The house truly lived up to its name, nestled in a serene woodland setting that provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the owners had put great thought and care into providing a memorable stay. The house was exceptionally well-equipped. The presence of both a Blackstone grill upstairs and a Traeger grill downstairs, made outdoor cooking a delight. We were pleasantly surprised to find water floats and beach towels available for our use. It was evident that the owners had gone above and beyond to ensure that guests felt at home, even providing shampoo, soap, and other essentials for added convenience. A highlight of our stay was the private dock. Renting a boat and tying up to the dock was a fantastic experience, and we spent countless hours on the water. Throughout our stay, communication with Sydney was exceptional. She was prompt, attentive, and incredibly helpful. She even offered to leave out some spices and condiments - a small touch that made a big difference. The house itself was a modern marvel, exuding comfort and elegance. It was clear that the property was well-maintained and cared for. "Tucked in the Woods" is a hidden gem that we can't recommend enough. The idyllic location, well-appointed amenities, and exceptional communication with the property manager made for a perfect family vacation.

WHAT A PLACE!!!!

First of all to save you time....don't hesitate and book NOW. This house was amazing. The property was very clean and felt like it was brand new. Decorated very well with a modern farmhouse feel. Also, no need to rush in and claim your room, because both main rooms upstairs bedrooms are exactly the same with the best views of the lake. Our 4 teenagers loved having the downstairs to themselves, with matching bunk beds rooms (also great view of the lake). Now the porch....come on!! A huge sliding door that opened up to the porch was so nice in the morning. We used the provided Blackstone for some burgers one night which felt like home. Did you forget something...it doesn't matter because the owners have nearly everything you could think of and more. They even have floats for the lake and the lily pad was a hit with the kids. Now for the best part...The owner. Sydney was awesome and always there when needed. It was refreshing to stay at a place where the owners make sure that their guests are taken care of. She even dropped off an extra propane tank because they thought the one was running low. They even had a sticker of their property which the kids loved and put on their water bottles right when they saw it. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back. TOP NOTCH.
