Originally from New Jersey, like many in south Florida:) I've been here for over 40 years. I love the outdoors, a bit of a health nut and enjoy all the perks of the south Florida lifestyle. Old Northwood is a historical neighborhood, filled with many homes from the early 1900's. Originally a mango grove, started by a retired botanist from NY. He moved here with his family with a vision. Buying up all the land and creating one of the worlds largest mango groves serving people all over. Calling it "Lost Mangonia". We bought our small slice of land over 25 years ago, when people thought we were crazy, but we had a vision. So close to the water and all the best of what this area has to offer, we knew it would be great. And we were right! Our small Village is blooming with fantastic restaurants and eclectic shops, 1.5 miles to downtown West palm Beach, 1 mile to Palm Beach Island, 10 min. to the airport, the most gorgeous beaches you've ever seen and it's just getting started. We LOVE to be able to walk to dinner, (our home is the starting point and destination for all our friends) or drive a short distance to all fruits Palm Beach has to offer. The weather is AH MAzing all year round, what's NOT to LOVE?! The "quit your job and move to paradise" is real, you CAN do it and it's great!

The thing that makes our property so great is it's relaxed and sophisticated vibe. I really love the freshness when you walk through the door; I love the quiet serenity and surroundings. You just feel at peace here. I LOVE our neighborhood too. When you walk your dog and or just go for a stroll you will run into area neighbors who are nice, friendly, say Hello, How are you...many times takes me at 2 hrs to "walk my dog"...not that I am actually walking her, I run into a neighbor and end up talking or having a wine while my dog has a playdate with theirs:) I also pride myself on making sure our home is very well equipped. I've stayed in many VRBO properties, and sadly there is barely a wine glass. There is no attention to detail, almost no care. Just a money maker. NOT in my home. If there is anything we don't have, I will happily get it for you; Within reason of course:) I encourage to come, stay and see for yourself. Every guest we've had have LOVED staying here, hate to leave and I know you will too!
