This property is located on almost 2 acres of land. Lots of room to roam and a very private Property. You could have a Roaring Fire in the Fire Pit while enjoying the best view in southeastern Kentucky. Your boat could be setting in the Large Circle Driveway. You can be in the waters of Lake Cumberland within minutes which is only 2 miles from the home and at fee free Launching ramp. You can have your own secluded part of the Lake cruising the waters of Buck Creek and the North Fork of the Cumberland River. Check out the largest Car Show east of the Mississippi River that has on a regular bases of over 1,000 cars. Walk the street of Somerset on the 4th Saturday of each month, April-October with Somernite Cruise. Whether it the waters of beautiful Lake Cumberland or the Hot Rods of the Somernites Cruise or the quiet serenity of the Country Living, you will have it all while staying at the Rock'n S Properties.

Great home in a great location!

Beautiful and extremely peaceful location for a getaway. We are actually building a retirement home about 1/2-mile from here, and stay in this home whenever we are working down there. It has everything we need, just like home. Very well kept home.

The ultimate house in the hills

This is our second stay at the site, as we purchased 20 acres of woods about 1/2-mile down the hill to build our small retirement home. It's the perfect place for us to stay while working at our property. It's very well-kept, clean, and has every convenience for a family stay. Owners are awesome to work with. Highly recommended for a vacation stay, though we are working when down there!

Perfect location, nice home!

We purchased 20 acres of wooded property about 1/2 mile from this rental home. Planning to build our retirement home there. We've been staying in Somerset (hotels) on previous trips, but found this listing online. It was a great place to stay, very near the property we were working on. We will certainly be booking it for many future stays!

Just like home, but cleaner and with much better view.

- House very comfortable; HVAC is effective. - Very clean on check-in and everything was easy to clean on check-out. - Appliances all work and are in mint condition. - The mountain/valley view from fire pit is amazing. - Try to arrive/leave during daylight hours. We ran into a lot of fog from Richmond to Somerset, which was scary on I75, but terrifying on the small mountain roads after dark. - Very close to town and property large enough for comfortable distance from neighbors so we didn't feel like imposters. :) - Modern smart TV & fast Internet connection. HD streaming was smooth. - House was very easy to clean + fully stocked with cleaning tools and supplies - Huge front/side porch w/comfortable furniture - Beds very clean and comfortable - Check-in was seamless - Indian food at Mirch Masala in Somerset was great - don't be fooled by the strip mall ambience. :) - Couch and reclining chairs are comfortable. - House is well-insulated and cozy - Kitchen works well with ample room and counter space for multiple cooks. Only thing we missed was cast-iron skillet for searing steaks and putting them in oven directly. Other than than, the non-stick pots and pans were great. :) - Will be back if they'll have us. :)

Great home and view

The home is open and flows well, and everything was very clean. The view of the mountains from the fire pit was amazing, the porch was nice to relax on and watch the rain. I’ll definitely be back thank you for letting me stay in your home.

I was raised on the property that I now own and rent. Growing up here allowed me to enjoy the outdoors. I still fish and hunt when time allows. Nothing like unwinding while poking a fire in the fire pit or fishing the serene back waters of Lake Cumberland.

Why they chose this property

I was raised here and I guess I'll never part from this property. Even though I don't live on the property any more, when I need to relax and remove myself from my now fast pace life style, I always come back, build a big fire, set back and enjoy the view that I enjoyed as a young boy with my grandpa.

Nestled on the top of 1 of the highest hill tops in Pulaski County, KY it provides you with the view that rivals the great Smokey Mountains. This property has it all. It has room to roam and relax. It is very quiet so you can unwind and it has all the amities you could want such as Internet Based Smart TV, WiFI through out the home, tall 10' ceilings, Spacious L shaped Porch and a Large circle Driveway for anything you could possibly pull with a truck.
