Secluded Creekside farmhouse

This sweet little farm house has been completely renovationed. Tucked back into 20 acres of privacy. You will step into tranquility of nature and wildlife. The house is surrounded by a board fence to keep the cattle. You can see the great little pond from the screened in back porch. See geese fly over, hear the frogs, deer, turkeys, cows and the cricket sing you to sleep. You will not know you are only 5 minutes from downtown. I hope you enjoy the peace and quite as much as we do.

Great home in a secluded location

Very nicely done renovation here. We enjoyed the stay while we were in the area working on our retirement home. Within a 15 minute drive of our property, and close to town for anything we needed. Will stay here again!

Peaceful

This was our second time staying in this beautiful, peaceful and cozy home. It has all we need for a quiet weekend with family. We truely enjoy sitting in the screen in back porch in the moring watching the cows while drinking our coffee. All around a beautiful home that is out of the hustle and bustle of life.

Country Quietness

We love the location out in the country, but yet still close enough to the city only a few minutes. We were only 15 minutes from Leesport marina where our boat is at a slip. It is very relaxing home.

My husband and another couple went last weekend and it was so nostalgic. I had cows and farm animals growing up, so I was so pleased with the scenery. When you went in, the house was gorgeous, very up to date, but needs another bathroom. We will definitely be back.

Incredible stay

Pictures dont do it justice. My wife and I spent the weekend in somerset for our 14th year anniversary and this house and property is a little slice of Heaven. Inside is updated and very nice and clean. On the outside you feel very secluded and the view in the back yard is breathtaking with the cow pasture and forest backdrop. Beth the owner was a joy to work with. She provided us with a list of things to do and eat in the area and her recommendations were spot on. Absolutely will be renting again when we return to Somerset. 6/5 stars😉

The host, Beth, was very prompt with replies to our questions about our stay. It was the perfect property for our needs. There were 5 of us and we we're very comfortable. We especially enjoyed coffee in the morning on the screened in porch. What a beautiful view!

We LOVED the privacy and seclusion of this property!! The cows were very fun to watch and we saw a wild turkey! I would definitely stay here again even tho the beds were a little firmer than I prefer.

Best secluded cottage

We are originally from the country so this house was perfect for us because it felt like home and our kids loved the cows around the property. The house was very clean and spacious for a family of six. House was located about 10 minutes outside of Somerset so you were still able to get to town pretty quickly for anything and was also probably a 10 to 15 minute drive from Lee’s Ford Marina, which was good for us as we brought our boat to go to the lake. I would definitely stay in this house again if we ever decide to go back to Lake Cumberland for another trip. The owners were very quick to respond if we needed anything and we’re available for any questions if we ever needed it.

The creekside country house was perfect. Very welcoming upon arrival. Love the roominess and open concept. The 3 season porch was a great addition! The location was great, our daughter lives in Somerset so it was easy for her and our grandson to stop by frequently. Loved our stay and plan to stay in the future again!

Beautiful house in serene setting

It is very spacious for a 3 bedroom 1-floor house. Plenty of room to spread out and relax - screened-in porch, front-back patio. It would be nice for the front motion-sensor light stay on for more than a few seconds while trying to unlock the door, but that adds to the adventure.

If you're looking for a peaceful vacation in a picturesque country home, this is a perfect spot. We booked the first week of August and were delighted by the lush greenery and the moderate Kentucky weather. The home is clean, well maintained, and outfitted with all the usual modern appliances. Several large porches allow you to enjoy the seclusion provided by the surrounding forrests and pasturelands. Nights are quiet and we always slept well. I think the property is an ideal size for a couple desiring a fairly spacious getaway. The owner is very friendly and we had no issues with booking, check-in, or check-out. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location and outstanding host!

This property is a great place to stay just off the main roads. Tranquility at it's best. It's very well stocked for cooking and has most everything you'll need. Our host, Beth, went above and beyond to help me get birthday cupcakes in the home before we arrived. She's quick to respond to any need that may arise. We'll stay here again if available when we travel.
