Nearly 1600 sq ft plus huge covered deck overlooking the cove between Burnside Island and Burnside. This home sleeps up to 8. Master with memory foam King mattress/bed and full bath with both shower and soaking tub. Guest bedrooms feature queen beds and we also have two twin mattresses (in bedroom 3 closet) to get to 8 guests. Kitchen is fully equipped with regular range/oven, huge refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. It is also stocked with all dishes, silverware, pot/pans, skillets, toaster, coffee maker, everything you need for a week or weekend at the lake. There is also a full size washer and dryer and all linens and towels are included. Large dining room with 6 chairs. Great room with 47" mounted flat screen and master with 32" both ROKU streaming. The covered deck has 2 picnic tables and additional chairs along with gas grill and hammock. This was our second home and we loved the location enough we built our retirement home next door.

Carnegie Community Arts Center
The Carnegie Community Arts Center, known as the “Grand Dame” of Somerset, Kentucky was once the old Post Office and then the Public Library. It is now called home by many of the area’s artists. The beautiful, historic three-story structure built in 1913 is named for the philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie, who provided the first library in Somerset.

Looking for a fishing excursion, look no further. Trips start at first light and last at least 6 hrs. or until the legal limit is caught. Anglers may legally keep two stripers apiece, and the fish must be at least two feet long.

Boaters, fishermen, and golfers can all enjoy this peaceful 400 acre island Park located one mile south of the property. The Park has the distinction of being the only island within the Kentucky State Park system and offers a wonderful 5 boat wide launch ramp for our boating guests. It is designed to handle watercraft of all sizes. Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area
Encompassing 125,000 acres of the Cumberland Plateau, Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area protects the free-flowing Big South Fork of the Cumberland River and its tributaries. Mill Springs Battlefield National Historic Site and Tour
History and Civil War buffs will not be disappointed by this landmark of American History. The Battle of Mill Springs occurred in 1862 and is located 15 minutes west of the property, near Nancy, Ky. www.millsprings.net
