A perfect spot that is remote, but only 10-15 minutes from a town that has much of what you’d need. Beautiful views from every side of the house, and a very attentive host makes this a great stop.
Spent little over a week here. It was a welcome super quiet place stay in nice canyon area above Grants. House was clean comfortable and well supplied. Lovely views from all sides and only short drive to town if want eat out or get something from store. Numerous places to visit within hour to get a feel for New Mexico area...completely different from touristy Santa Fe area.
Beautiful location up a canyon road but close to El Malpias and El Morro. Saw chipmunks, rabbits and many birds. This is a clean, lovely property and I would definitely stay here again.
The photos and description were accurate, super cute. The fenced backyard was great since we had our dog with us. So quiet at night, it was incredible.
Staying here was a treat. Wish I could take it with me. I am from the SW and this felt like home. Highly recommend to anyone traveling across I 40. Come enjoy the quiet and beauty that is NM.
Absolutely beautiful! Kid friendly and so peaceful. If you’re looking to unplug & stargaze in a clean & cozy home, this is your spot. You can hear wildlife around you and enjoy no light pollution after dark. Thank you for hosting us!
Listing accurately describes the unit, it does not however start to describe the outstanding scenery to get to it nor the tranquility of the home. It’s nearby the national monuments, Route 66 memorabilia and the continental divide trail. Grants does not a lot of eating establishments but the well stocked kitchen makes meal prep easy. Lovely location.
We stayed for three perfect days. The spacious living room accommodated our snowy day at home wonderfully, we sat cozy and warm near the fire while we planned our next excursion. The generous kitchen allowed us to eat in, with all the utensils one could need. My pups loved the fenced in back yard… plenty of running room and easy access from the kitchen. The private canyon location was just right. For those with a hybrid car there is access to a trickle charge out front.
