About this property

Ranch Camp with Boulder climbing

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis.
We moved into this travel trailer after our house burned last year. After moving into a house recently we decided to list it so others can experience a stay on a West Texas ranch. This is a great place if you like hiking or enjoy gazing at the stars at night.
The space
A nice place to get away from the rat race. One and a half miles off the pavement next to Lizzard Mountain. 20 minute drive to the town of Fort Davis.
Mcdonald Observatory, Davis Mountains State Park, Fort Davis National Historic Site, and Chihuahua Desert Research Center are some of the attractions in this area.
Domestic animals that are currently on the ranch are Miniature Hereford cows, Spanish goats, Shetland Sheep, lamas, chickens and pigeons. Wildlife include 🦌, antelope, coyote, and quail.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to explore the area and hike on Lizzard Mountain.
Other things to note
We have 2 dogs that are friendly but the female can be aggressive towards other dogs
