Perfect for Reunion!

The very large and gorgeous home is set in a beautiful area with gorgeous views of the mountains. Our group of 5 each had our own rooms and enjoyed cooking for a few Girls Nights In. We loved swimming in the large heated pool and the pool towels were great. The home has glassware for every occasion that were perfect for our Signature Drinks. The location is perfect for hiking, shopping and sightseeing. Our group visited FDR's home, we took a cooking class at the CIA (Culinary Institute of America) and enjoyed all of the charming towns on both sides of the Hudson River. A

Had such a lovely stay. Home was very modern with brand new furniture and backyard had so much to do with pool, fire pit, and hot tub. Will definitely be staying here again!

Relaxing long weekend getaway in a gorgeous property with amazing views

We had a wonderful long weekend stay for my birthday celebration. Smores by the fire pit, seeing the fall tree colors with the mountains in the backdrop and cooking meals with fresh produce and meat from the local farmers market was exactly what we were looking for. The property is well appointed and it was so relaxing. The kids had a blast playing outside and it was definitely a memorable and lovely experience.

Amazing family weekend upstate!

Everything about the weekend from the house, location, amenities, etc. was 10/10! The house is brand new and beautiful - very well maintained and had plenty of room for our large group. Shannon was a great hosts and super responsive to all my messages and questions. Their house manager Austin was also great and came to the house to fix an issue we had with the grill. Would definitely recommend this property - we cannot wait to come back!

Perfect location/Stunning home

We are regular travelers and would rate Shannon & Dave’s place as one of the nicest, best located, and coziest of all the places we have stayed. The house was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was easy access to some of the best restaurants/views in the area. Communication was great too and answered any questions we had. We would highly recommend this stunning property if you're looking for a beautiful weekend getaway upstate! (Dog friendly, pool, hot tub & firepit was such plus too!)

Wow - beyond expectations

An absolute gem! This is a luxurious mountain home that exceeded all of our expectations. We didn't know what to expect going in, but I'm glad we went for it. From the heated pool to the linens and everything in between, it's clear that every detail has been thoughtfully curated. Loved the convenience of the local trails and the proximity to town. I wish we stayed longer, we'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend! P.s. - the hot tub is awesome.

Family Getaway

We just got back from the most relaxing stay at this beautiful home and we can’t say enough great things about it. When we arrived, there was an adorable home made s’mores kit left on the counter for us to use at the fire pit! Our kids loved this!! The house is gorgeous and the view from the kitchen windows is breathtaking! Everything was spotless and so beautifully decorated. We had so much fun the pool all day and hot tub at night, followed by the amazing heated bench outside!! We also dined at a few great restaurants at night, although our kids would’ve been happy to just stay at the house, as there was so much for them to do lol!!!! If you’re looking for a family friendly & tranquil getaway, this is definitely the place for you. We can’t wait to come back here!! Thank you so much for opening your home to us Shannon & Dave!

Alie Carmena - Anniversary

This was our second time staying here and it has become such a special place to us! We don’t have enough good things to say about the host, property & area. The second we walked into the house, it was SPOTLESS and we were greeted by the property manager and a s’mores kit to kick off the weekend! 😊 My fiancé and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary and it was the perfect romantic getaway we were looking for! The foliage view in the backyard paired with 2 glasses of wine on the heated bench was probably our favorite part. There’s also so many great spots to check out in the area and most are dog friendly which our pups loved just as much as us! Clay & Mohonk are a personal favorite and definitely recommend checking out nearby state park for great hiking!! We absolutely love it here & hope to keep visiting in the future!

Awesome!!!

Three generations of our family had an amazing one week stay in this perfect setting and I would highly recommend it. The property is even better than the pictures show online and the view is priceless. The house was clean, nothing was broken and there was no musty odor. It has everything you would need or want and more. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic food supplies. The location is quiet, safe, only five minutes from Mohonk Preserve hiking and less than fifteen minutes to New Paltz for shopping and restaurants. The WiFi was good. It supported all the computers and cell phones for eight people plus streaming on two televisions. The highlight for our family was the heated pool and hot tub with views of the Gunks plus a firepit for making the supplied S'mores kit. The pool was equipped with floats for everyone. enough comfortable seating, umbrellas and plenty of pool towels. Communication with the owners during booking was excellent and they quickly responded to all my email questions. Austin, the caretaker, is a tremendous asset. He was helpful, informative and quickly answered or replied to my calls and emails. We would definitely return to the property for our next stay without hesitation.

Beautiful house, horrible owner that will continue to charge you after you leave

This house is beautiful however be prepared to deal with a horrible owner. Even before our stay, I had asked if we could do a late check out and the owner agreed. Then once we booked she went back on her word and said she would only accommodate late check out for longer stays. Finally after begging for months they accommodated a last minute early check in. We treated the house with such care, including stripping all beds, wiping surfaces and even power washing the patio! After the trip I got a $425 charge for things that my group did not damage. For example, it was said that we “soiled” a bed. When I told the owner there was no way that happened, she admitted that they had never taken the mattress protector off (gross) so it could have been from a group before us. Yet they did not reverse the charge. Beware if you stay in this house you will be paying way more than the listed price. I’d say find another house - there are plenty with more trustworthy owners.

My wife and I stayed here with our immediate family and it comfortably fit all 12 of us and our pups. The house was well stocked with essentials and the property manager was communicative. The location is beautiful, the grass and grounds maintained, and the backyard well fenced so we could allow our dogs out without concern. There were a couple things we couldn't figure out ourselves but we made do. The check-out at 10:30 is early without any flexibility permitted. Overall it was certainly a 5-star stay and would recommend.

The pool was closed, and it rained for most of our visit, so we didn't use the hot tub. We tried to use the fireplace, however there was significant smoke (damper was open), and we had to stop our fire.Some minor things needed attention: not enough hand towels, and bath towels.No paper towels in kitchen (we ordered).Food processor didn't work.Despite a rainy weekend, our family enjoyed the house, location and ammenities.

My family and I (a group of 10) booked this home to attend our nephews wedding weekend, which was packed with activities. The photos of this property are spectacular but don’t do it justice. It was so clean, so beautiful, and had plenty of space to get some alone time but also space to gather with friends and family. The home is a destination in itself and we joked about skipping the wedding to relax and enjoy it! My sisters and I plan to book it again for a girls weekend! It’s perfect for either sitting by the fire or swimming in the pool. The hot tub was so amazing, I looked into getting one for me! If you’re planning a getaway, I would definitely recommend it. The owners and property manager were easily accessible but we didn’t need much of anything- it was perfect!

Beautiful spacious house for a family vacation. We enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub and fire pit and large space to relax together in or out of the house. Perfect in every way!

The views of the Gunks (the mountains) blew our minds. The heated pool was so relaxing and fun! The beds were great! The showers had plenty of water with plenty of pressure, even with ten of us using them. We found the kitchen easy to cook in and we had some gourmet meals! Loved the unbreakable glasses and dishes for deck dining. Enjoyed the S’Mores fixings you left us- thank you! The caretaker Austin was friendly and responsive. Excellent experience! Wedding Stay for large group

We loved the fact that everything was clean, the rooms were spacious, the furnishings were comfortable and there was ample rooms and bathrooms for my family - 10 people. The backyard was pristine and wonderful for outdoor dining and activities. With regards to the bathrooms, I wish they had hand-held showers rather than just overhead showers only. It was unfortunate that the pool was not usable since they were having issues with it but the hosts were very kind to give us a late checkout.The hosts were also very responsive and so was the caretaker for the property. Overall a great place to stay for a large group.

Cozy Mountain retreat with modern amenities

We had a wonderful stay. The real fire place in the living room was a wonderful touch. Great for playing games with friends and family on a cold night. The Hot tub with a view was probably my favorite part. I would recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise in the kitchen with views of the mountain, it makes for a great cup of coffee.

The perfect NYC getaway!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this property. It’s in a great location (only 90 min from NYC) and close to town with hiking, great food, and thrift/antique shopping. Check in was a breeze and the house itself was spotless. The property was serene with great views and plenty of activities, including a hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect family venue

The variety of spaces offered great places for people to work remotely and for toddlers to play. The pool was perfect for two beginning swimmers and a lap swimmer. The grounds and house were clean and tidy.
