Art and Foodie Lover`s Dream -Live Like a Local in Montrose
Live the rare life of a walkable area of Houston filled with art, stylish bars & trendy restaurants to explore. This area is an art lover’s dream neighborhood.
You can walk a half block to the Menil Museum and stay for an al fresco lunch at their cafe. Maybe you want to walk the other side of that half block to the H‑E‑B Grocery to make your own meals in our stocked kitchen.
Close to: all downtown venues & museum district, TX Med Center, UH, UST, Minute Maid park, cool shops, restaurants.
The apartment is spacious and extraordinarily clean. It is dressed in a slight mid century modern theme while keeping a homely yet sophisticated feel to it.
The living room has a cou h long enough to lay down and enjoy a movie in the 55” tv.
The kitchen is roomy and has been upgraded to ensure making your meals or just grabbing a cup of coffee is simple. We are also fully stocked with all kitchenware for whatever you heart desires to cook while staying with us.
Our bathroom is stocked with Bath & Body Works, has a removable shower head and a full sized bathtub.
Last but not least, the bedroom is very spacious! We have a bed that will ensure a perfect night’s sleep and the covers are very soft and cuddly. We have every type of pillow too! We also have a 32” tv and walk in closet. Within the living room and bedroom we do have some local artist’s work hanging in our walls for all of our art lovers!
Guest have their own specially marked parking spot right in front of the building. “Parking for Unit #2 Only”
There will be a parking permit located on the desk inside the apartment for you to hang on your rearview mirror while parked in our private parking lot.
The parking lot does have a security camera for your protection and the parking lot itself. So feel safe when you stay with us.
You will only interact with us if you need something in person or if we are doing some upkeep for the building outdoors.
There is always one of us nearby the apartment. This is a plus for sure just in case you need us for anything.
Please feel free to contact us via Airbnb messaging and if for some very odd reason we do not reply within the hour - make sure to grab one of our business cards to keep on you during your stay if you need help while not in the apartment.
Sometimes people get lost in such a large city and we are always happy to help.
Wow- Montrose!
It is a unique neighborhood being the most walkable area in such a huge city. Just from this apartment you can walk a half block to 4 bars, 3 restaurants, grocery store, and 2 museums.
You will see some of Houston’s original homes in this area. Just on our street we have a home that was built in 1925 and it has all the charm of a 1920’s home. This neighborhood pride’s itself of not being the cookie-cutter type. Each house is different with its charms and amazing architecture.
There are so many museums in the area I do t have space to name them all; but all a must on your trips here.
Montrose is described as: artsy, full of culture, nightlife, GREAT food, GREAT cocktail bars, LGBTQ safe, best hairdressers, outdoor activities, and interesting and wonderful people.
We are close to: medical center, museum district, downtown, Heights, West University, Rice Village, University of St Thomas, Rice University, University of Houston, Texas Southern University, and the Galleria.
Montrose area is pretty walkable but we suggest renting a vehicle. Houston is very large and the public transportation is almost non-existent.there is a bus that goes down Westheimer every 45 mins
Please note that pets are accepted on a case by case basis. Due to the size of the space, the contents, and future guest’s allergies we do ask these questions;
**Is your pet FULLY house trained. This means no puppy pads.
**How old is your pet? Usually puppies tend to chew on the furniture or blinds. (Just from our experience or 9 years in this business so we are not discriminating against pets)
** Will your animal be created if they are puppies and will you be returning regularly to let them out to use the restroom?
**Finally - Please do not forget to add them to your reservation. This could lead to you not being accepted as you arrive with your pet.
We absolutely ❤️ pets and I have a best fur-baby myself. We have out a lot of hard work into making sure our guests are happy in the apartment no matter if they are pet people of
not.
Please note that the patio area also has a security camera for the safety of the tenants and the airbnb guests. These cameras have the sound turned off on the cameras near the patio table for privacy.
Treat the place like your own. Respect neighbors
