About this property
Creekside Home w/ Tahoe Cabin Charm – Updated, Dog Friendly – Incline Village
Welcome to our creekside home — a place that's been in our family for four generations, with all the cozy, old-Tahoe cabin charm you'd hope for. Freshly updated in 2024, but we kept the character intact. Think crackling fireplaces, a big fenced yard for your pup to run around in, and a crystal-clear mountain stream right outside your door.
The half-acre lot is private and level, tucked on a quiet street with barely any traffic. There's a huge deck out back for morning coffee, evening drinks, or just watching the creek go by. Past guests keep telling us how well the place works for them and their pets — plenty of yard, plenty of space, and a layout that's easy to settle into.
Inside, you've got two separate living spaces, each with its own fireplace and smart TV, so nobody has to fight over the remote. Growing up, this was where the grown-ups would disappear into the sunken family room after a big ski day while the kids ran the rest of the house. Funny how that's flipped over the years — but either way, there's room for everyone to spread out.
Getting around: Raley's (groceries, dining, shops) and the local ski shop are just a few blocks away. Diamond Peak is minutes up the hill, Mt. Rose not much further, and you've got Squaw, Heavenly, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Sugar Bowl all within 20–45 minutes. Golf, the Hyatt, and the casino are all under 5 minutes out.
Incline Village has all the good stuff — great food, shopping, movies, and things to do no matter the season. Come see why our guests keep coming back.
A few practical notes:
Heads up — guest access to the Incline Village recreation center (pools, fitness, classes) and IV beaches isn't included anymore, but nearby Tahoe public beaches are open to everyone. Bringing your dog? The pet fee's already baked into your quote when you select "Yes" for pets. More than one pup? Just message us — it's a flat $50 for an additional pet. A nightly damage waiver is included in your reservation (covers up to $3,000, plus tax where it applies) — no security deposit needed.

Renovated, modern and clean with big fenced backyard in the woods. Quiet safe neighborhood. Very clean. Camille is very easy to work with and is obviously concerned that guests are happy with the home.

We really liked our stay at incline village. The property was well maintained and clean. It was comfortable to stay in and we felt we could have spent more time at the place if we had the time. The hosts were responsive. We felt like they had really put in a lot of effort to make the place feel like home.

Thank you! It's been a wonderful family retreat for us. We enjoy sharing with others.
Our stay was absolutely amazing! I could not say anything bad about the home we stayed at. The house had everything we needed. The backyard was huge and fenced in so that our dogs were able to run free. The kitchen was fully stocked with tubberware, dishes, pots and pans, and cups. The bathroom had all the amenities we needed and the towels were so soft! I loved how modern and clean the whole place felt especially for a house that accomodates pets. Camille was also a great host. She let us check in early with no problem. Also with the recent storm she was very flexible with our stay and giving us the option to extend if needed. Her hospitality definitely went beyond our expectations. We definitely would stay here again next year.

Easy access and Camille the host was easy to communicate with and helpful with unexpected travel situation. We can’t recommend this highly enough. Pet yard is beautiful and roomy

Thanks so much for the lovely review! It makes us so happy to share our home with others. We've made so many great family memories there—though no weddings yet! How amazing that you got to celebrate your daughter’s big day in beautiful Lake Tahoe. You and your family were a joy to host. Wishing the newlyweds lots of love and happiness ahead!
This property worked out really well for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Probably was clean and well equipped. Owner was very responsive if we had a question. Would definitely recommend this rental.
Beautiful. Comfortable, Homey feel! Wonderful kitchen, very well stocked. Every appliance you could want and plenty of space to cook. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking (we had 3 cars with room for 1 more). Perfect location - skiing, grocery stores, restaurants (Mojos Pizza!!) all just minutes away. I highly reccommend!! Thanks Camille

Wonderful! So much space, both inside and out. We especially loved the deck and stream.
We loved the house and back yard. In the morning we did yoga out on the deck. In the evening, we fished in the stream. The location is fabulous. Close to town, but far enough removed. It was a very peaceful retreat. My kids loved playing ping pong at night. De definitely hope to return sometime soon

Relaxing and restful stay
We really enjoyed staying at this home during our visit to Lake Tahoe. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood about a 5 minute drive from the center of town. Close enough to run small errands without sacrificing privacy. The home has plenty of room for everyone and a beautiful backyard that borders a small brook. The owners thoughtfully provided plenty of amenities and the kitchen was well-stocked. We had an issue with one of the showers which the owners tried to resolve during our stay but were unable to do so due to the holiday but they were very communicative and helpful and we will certainly come back again on our next trip to Lake Tahoe.
We had the pleasure of staying at this location over the weekend, little did we know that we would've stumbled upon a gem. Vacation rentals tend to be impersonal and transactional, but our experience with Camille was the exact opposite. Camille was responsive, personable, and attentive to details. She reached out to us prior to our stay ensuring that we reach out to her should we have any hiccups. The cabin was perfect for our family - the game room was attached to the main house and the open concept living room allowed me to keep an eye on our toddlers while preparing our meals. The backyard, our favorite part of the house, offered a little something for each one of us - hearing a running stream while drinking coffee in the morning, building a snowman at 8 PM with the shovels located in the mudroom, exploring the yard for animal tracks, and so much more. All you literally have to do is show up and prepare to have a great time since the cabin has the necessary snow gear you would need (sled, shovel, disc sled, etc.) with ski resorts close by and Tahoe City only 20 minutes away. Thank you, Camille, for sharing your cabin with us, it was so special and we hope to visit again soon.

Thank you so much for the kind words and beautiful, thoughtful review. We have years and generations of found Tahoe memories and very much enjoy sharing our cabin (house) with others. It is wonderful to hear you enjoyed our home. It is very special to us. Thank you.
Very dog friendly, fenced yard. Highly recommend Alibi brew pub and sage leaf for breakfast very close to the house. Beautiful surroundings, wooded, no need for a/c in July.
Check in and check out process was easy and reasonable. Camille was easy to communicate with. One bummer was that, according to the neighbor, a tree fell a few days ago on to part of the fence. So our dog was not able to be let out free. The house did not feel so clean. I know it’s on the older side, but there were stains on the wall and little spiders in the corner of our room. Also the doors are so loud when opening and closing that it was difficult for our baby to sleep when we have to come in and out of our bedroom.
We had our traditional family ski trip for my sons birthday. To my pleasant surprise, our cabin home was very comfortable great amenities, and remarkably clean!
Being that my son just turned 22 years old, he and his 3 close friends enjoyed staying in the red carpet room together playing cards, video games and sleeping in their bunk beds like they did when they got together when they were young kids and teenagers. We snowboarded 2 days and was a treat to come back to the cabin for lunch which was only 15 minutes away from Mt Rose and NorthStar. We truly enjoyed all our time at the cabin home, made great memories, Camille our host was attentive to our needs and easy to work with, and would recommend this place to enjoy!
Thanks, Saludares Family

Thank you. I very much appreciate your review. We love our humble Tahoe "Cabin" and enjoy sharing with others.
Not only is the house great, but the backyard is huge and completely fenced so my dog could roam free. The house is in a perfect location and in proximity to the grocery store, beaches, and ski resorts. The neighborhood is quiet and the creek is lovely. We had an amazing time.
Very cozy and welcoming, with Christmas lights inside and out. Our grandkids loved the “RedRoom” playroom, with beds for all. Our bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms could use some updating, but were well stocked. The kitchen was also well stocked. We enjoyed our Christmas stay.
We had the most amazing time! The house is perfect, I love the red room it was perfect the kids. The fenced in backyard was just what we needed for the kids and dog. Listening to the sound of the creek while you sleep was so relaxing, the trees and the size of the backyard made it feel like you were camping with all the comforts of home. I would not only stay here again but I would definintely recommend to friends/family. The only drawback was it during Covid and the weekend before Labor Day so the beaches were so packed we had to go to South Tahoe to find a quiet and less crowded beach area. I can't say enough good things about this place!
We loved this place! It was big enough that the kids has their own space and the adults did too. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. The kids loved playing in the creek behind the backyard. They also loved being able to go play at the football field behind the creek. The house has all types of board games, ping pong balls and paddles, so much for the kids to do! The location is great too. It’s so close to stores and restaurants yet feels secluded. We would definitely stay here again!

About the host
Hosted by Camille Renee Jampolsky
My brother, sister, and I own this home together. The three of us were born and raised in Tiburon/Belvedere, California, and spent countless summers and winter weekends here growing up.
The story behind the house is one of our favorites. Our first family cabin burned down in the Mt. Rose fire back in the 1960s, and our dad wanted to give our mom a place of her own to start over — somewhere with a creek, specifically. Mom had grown up playing along her grandmother's creek and always loved the sound of running water. So Dad found her this spot, where she could sit with a book, listen to the stream, and watch us kids play in the yard.
Decades later, that's still exactly what this place is for.
Why they chose this property
This home has always been about family — good separation of space so adults get their quiet time and kids get to be kids, but everyone still ends up together by the fire at the end of the day. Three generations of our family have made memories here, and honestly, that's still what it's for.
Tahoe has a way of getting under your skin. We love sharing this place with other families so they can build their own version of what it's given us — whether that's a big ski day, a lazy afternoon by the creek, or just some real time together away from everything else.
What makes this property unique
What really sets this place apart is the setting — a private, creekside half-acre with open space behind you and the creek as your backdrop, rather than another backyard. There's something special about falling asleep and waking up to the sound of running water — it adds this quiet, peaceful ambiance you don't get in a typical neighborhood setting. Just you, the creek, and the trees.
