Great location and property for exploring Newport! Off street parking, clean room and building and quick drive to Thames Street and beaches. Room was as described and perfect for a couple only needing a place to sleep and clean up. Ma’s Donuts is open 24 hours and close enough for morning coffee and breakfast!

Newport wedding stay
This property is on a busy road with absolutely no charm. There is a restaurant on the first floor which we knew but our room was on top of the kitchen and the noise from there went on until 11:30 each night with pots banging, water running etc. It sounded like a dance party without the music was going on. We called the manager to complain. He said that the kitchen stopped serving at 9 and it would be quiet by 9:30. We waited and both nights it took until 11:30 pm for the kitchen to be quiet. We asked and no other rooms were available. We would never stay there again

The room was clean and well-kept, easy to find and parking was readily available right behind the building. I had breakfast at the Thai restaurant at the front of the building one morning and it was amazing – be sure to stop in if it’s available the day you’re there. There were a few drawbacks – there was no chair to sit in to do a little work on my computer, the AC was noisy and one night, the keypad on a neighboring room was malfunctioning, and it kept beeping loudly for more than an hour and a half. I reached out for help, and they tried to reset it, but it continued, and I finally just turned the AC on blast and pulled the covers up over my head. It had stopped in the morning. Let me say, generally it was an inexpensive, clean, safe and pleasant room. I’m sure the keypad malfunction was a an unusual thing, and I would stay there again. Plus the people at the Thai restaurant are absolutely great!
