Abhorrent Experience

This experience was terrible -- from the host, all the way to the customer service received. My advice: Do not book with this host on ANY platform, and reconsider VRBO altogether. This host cancelled my stay at 4 a.m., the morning after my scheduled arrival, and advised that the location was double-booked-- note that I booked in November 2023. My scheduled say was April 5 -8, 2024. His tenants took my packages that I desperately needed for the event that I was attending, and he nor his "property managers" did anything to try and get them to me. I had to get the cops involved, and it was only then that he responded to any of my previous communications. I missed events that I paid to attend. Had to find somewhere to stay at 12 a.m., was forced to now pay premium pricing due to the time of the discovery of the double-booking, and vrbo customer service (specifically the group who handles lodging issues) -- supervisors too, were extremely rude, insensitive, and did the bare minimum to assist. Do not book with this host without a back-up plan.
