Great location and family friendly

The cabin is well stocked and there are lots of family friendly items provided for guests. There was an inaccuracy with the listing but it has since been corrected. Our family enjoyed our stay and will probably plan to return.

Cons: The description of parking the trailer should be better in the listing. There is a VERY tight turn heading down to the Dollhouse that will not take a trailer. The trailer needs to be parked in the field to the right away from the cottage. The Dollhouse road/turn is on the left. Thankfully we ran in to someone while figuring that out. The cottage is VERY small. I’d recommend either flipping the mattresses or get new ones. Late check-in (4pm) and VERY early check-out (8am). The check-out time is unreasonable. This is the reason we likely won’t be back. Pros: The pier is nice and handled our boat well. Perfect proximity to the launch. The owners next door were very nice as well as the woman in the house behind the Dollhouse. We loved having our dogs with us.

Doll House

Lots of stairs to climb and go down to get to the dock and up to the road. Doll House cabin was OK. Had no heat the first night and it was cold, but they came and turned on the fireplace, but then during the night it would get too hot (even on low) and we had to leave the doors open. When fireplace and gas oven would be used at the same time the fire alarm would go off and had to open all the doors. It did not seem smokey in the cabin, so maybe it was carbon dioxide that was detected, but the alarm stopped after both doors were opened for a while. The second bedroom bed were uncomfortable and one on the dresser side, don't sit on the end or the other end goes up and you go down like a teeter totter.
