23 kilometres away from the world renowned Himalayan resort town Nainital, in a small and gentle village called Gagar, this nest of utter, gentle calm is where life takes a restful pause to meditate on things far more profound than the worldly.

Upon reaching Gagar, as you walk up the winding road in between trees and flowers, the last cottage before the forests start, you would find The Great Escape. From here you can have unobstructed views of the snow capped peaks of Panchachuli in the Kumaon region.
