Gem of Lake Marion! Beautiful 3 Bedroom with King Beds, HD & Internet

Located in southeast Kissimmee on the shores of Lake Marion and 30 min from Legoland, this private ground floor end unit is totally renovated and fully decorated and has a screened lanai, 2 king beds, 2 twin beds which can be converted into a third King, playpen/crib, 2 strollers and high chair. The view out every window and lanai is scenic. No looking at walls or other peoples windows, just green forest and palms.

The open concept living room has a 58 inch High Definition Cable TV and Blue-ray with surround sound with seating for everyone and each bedroom has a 24 inch flat screen TV with cable and DVD. There is high-speed Internet and telephone with free long distance to US and Canada.

The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 12 and everything you have at your home kitchen plus more. The unit also has a dishwasher, microwave, full size front-loading washer and dryer. There is no unit out there that is as fully equipped as this one!

Perfect getaway for a family

The gem of Lake Marion was the best VRBO we've ever rented. Comfy beds, variety of pillows, screens in great condition on lanai and entryway, lots of towels! Ample supplies and amenities in the condo, PLUS a ton of activities available in the condo resort: swimming, shuffleboard, ping pong (paddles in the condo), and a pool table, as well as an exercise room (adults only).The short walk from the condo down to the lake is a lovely nature walk, AND the resort is adjacent to Bellini Preserve, another great spot for nature lovers.We visited LEGOland (30 minute drive) and also had an awesome paddle boarding lesson in Winter Haven with coach Camie. Both of those experiences were amazing, and I would highly recommend.I would definitely stay here again! Tina was super responsive to all our questions, and she truly cared about our experience.

Loved the stay but not much in eating out in this area.

So enjoyed having the heated pool mostly to ourselves all week. The condo was clean and we had everything we needed. It was a great getaway.

Very nice and clean condo

We stayed here with our family from Europe during Thanksgiving. We had a great time, made an awesome dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. Everything was clean, modern and up to date and well organized. The pool and sports courts are very nice. Overall a great place to stay.

GREAT PLACE

This was a great place to stay. Everything was very clean and organized and there were plenty of things around the condo to keep you busy after a long day out. The kitchen is really fully stocked with everything you need to make your own meals to save money. My wife and I were able to cook breakfast every morning and pack a lunch for the day. The property is a pretty quiet place and the grounds are nicely maintained. The security staff was very helpful as well.

Peaceful

There were kids that were riding their bikes down the middle of the road and would not move out of the way. The condo above us were smoking pot all hours of the day and didnt care who was around. Other than the skunk smell from the pot it was a very peaceful and cozy condo. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Immaculate home with all you want and more!

Tina’s home was the perfect place for our young family in town to visit my grandparents. The home was very clean and had detailed instructions for everything the home and the gated property had to offer. Their is plenty of plates, cups, dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils for anyone of any age. The home has access to multiple pools on the property which we took advantage of every day of our stay. I’m glad to know that this property is near my family as I am excited to frequent Tina’s property for many years to come!!!

Lake Marion Condo

Overall, it was a nice gated community. No, outdoor lighting to illuminate the condo address or designated parking spot. A/C was locked and not able to adjust temperature to renters needs and Nest thermostat went to ECO at 80 degrees while out.

Wonderful experience!

This was our first time using Home Away. The place was just like staying at a friend's home! We were there to take our son to LEGOLAND for his 4th birthday, and it was approximately 20 minutes away, just as provided in the description. We had no issues at all, and my damage waiver refund was issued very quickly (within a few days of my departure). The owners also have little signs all over the apartment telling you where to find things and label what each light switch is for so it was easy to navigate your way through the apartment and figure out what went where, etc. We didn't go into Orlando because it was about a 45 minute drive, so that was a bummer, but that's also in the description, so its at no fault of the owner... I just wouldn't recommend staying in this area for Orlando parks due to the distance. However, this will be my preferred choice for a place to stay if/when we return for LEGOLAND visits. Overall, we had an excellent experience!

Really nice place

The place is very clean & nicely decorated. The place had all we needed to cook if we wanted as well. We stayed here to go to Legoland for the weekend. It was only 20 minutes or so from the park. It is far from Disney but that is said in the description & we weren't going to Disney anyway. The pool was nice after the long day in the heat but the "hot tub" was cold. There were small ants all around the cupboards by the garbage can (across from the fridge) but we live in FL and know how this is after a bunch of rain. You can spray but they keep coming until it dries out some. The fact that they weren't everywhere shows its only due to weather. If we had ONE complaint, it would be that the air is set at 75 and you can not lower it at all. We like it cooler, especially when sleeping. If we had known that, we probably would not have rented it, but that's just our personal preference. Should be stated up front though. The ceiling fan in the master was loud and knocking on high so we weren't that comfy for sleeping. We were happy with the place in general however and the beds & furniture were comfortable & we would recommend it.

Journey to the wild

This apartment located in Lake Marion is very well maintained and cleaned. Everything in the condo is fully equipped and there should be everything there for you such as pots, pans, utensils, and even several spices. There is also a washing and drying machine. For families, there are plenty of boards games, books, and video games to choose from to make it a perfect family night. Although, the location of the condo is very far from convenient locations such as supermarkets, malls, and pharmacies. Therefore, having a car is a must. The Walt Disney World Parks and others are about an hour away from the condo which can make it very tiring driving back after a long day of walking in a theme park. There are many activities to do in this location such as Tennis, Swimming Pools, Basketball and many others because there is a lake right next to the condo. This condo is for families who wish to relax and enjoy nature and of course if you love insects. The condo is located right next to the wildlife where in the middle of the night you can hear snakes, crickets, and many other critters. If you're a nature and insect lover then this is your place to go! We did have an unfortunate event when we arrived at the condo in the night time and saw a 2-inch spider in front of the door. I'm not an expert in spiders (neither do I wish to be one) but I couldn't tell if it was poisonous or not. Apart from that, I have a phobia against them. Eventually, we started to throw things at the spider but it made the situation even worst because it went crawling under the door. We had to ask a neighbor which so kindly killed it with a sandal. If by any chance you are afraid of insects and small animals that crawl then it's not your place. There will always be a surprise whether it be a spider, ants, or spider webs in the bathroom. In the condo, there is a book of house rules, emergency plans, emergency phone numbers and other information that can be useful but make sure to keep in mind to follow all of the house rules. Unfortunately, we had ten minutes before checkout when all of a sudden the toilet clogged. Now, in the bathroom it says that there will be a $100 fee charged if anything other than toilet paper is flushed. Even though the toilet got clogged because of toilet paper I was still charged $40 from the security deposit.

The property was very comfortable and as pictured. Tina the host had great communication and was quick to respond. The property was very well stocked from dishes, and cookware, towels, games, books, etc... The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet as it was at the end of the road. Overall, a great place for families to stay. The only drawback for us was that the air conditioning was set at 74 and was not supposed to be set lower. We book several properties a year in Florida and have never had such a strict temperature requirement. I would have liked to have seen this in the description as it is too warm for our comfort.

Relaxing near nature

Lovely condo beautifully decorated, clean, & comfortable--esp. the bed in the master suite. The living room chairs reclined! Friends stayed with us overnight once & were blown away by the amenities! Owners truly thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable, from the plethora of DVDs (& books) to the many brochures describing area attractions and restaurants, as well as essentials such as detergents, soaps & dryer sheets. There are portable lawn chairs, a small cooler, 2 sets of golf clubs, and an umbrella (which, fortunately, we did not need!) The owner responded promptly to our questions each time we asked. Location was quiet--no cars go by because it is at the end of a cul-de-sac. Right out the door, the wooded walk to the lake is perfect for nature-lovers! We walked down the road to the lake about twice a day, trying to spot the birds our "Merlin" app identified by their songs. Each time there were at least 10 different species--counted about 30 total, & a deer! Down at the dock, we saw wading birds, eagles, osprey & others. We saw a couple of alligators, too! We met several nice neighbors, and appreciated the diverse neighborhood.A Publix grocery is not too far away; we used the spices owners provided to cook our meals. Ate at a good Puerto Rican Restaurant ("La Garita") in Dundee & Manny's Original Chophouse in Haines City--call-ahead seating definitely recommended. The food was worth the wait!We enjoyed a walk through the Disney Wilderness Preserve in Kissimmee.

We were very comfortable in the condo and enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything we needed. We were aware ahead of time that there is no bbq at the condo, but we did miss that. The pools were clean and warm. 30 minute drive to stores/ restaurants except Cherry Pocket which was 17 mins away and fun atmosphere. Tina was very responsive. I would recommend if you don’t mind driving a distance. We golfed at Lake Bess golf club, it was a comfortable course. I gave a 3 star for cleanliness only because the unit had not been cleaned by 4 pm check in time

Quiet neighborhood condo at the very edge

The place was clean and neat. There was plenty of communication from the host. The recreational area was enjoyable. The condo is a little bit far from local attractions, but that worked out fine for our situation. Very pleasant, quiet vacation.
