The space
The Country Cottage was built solid in 1945 and features solid wood ship lap walls, ceilings, and hardwood floors throughout the home.

It recently received a complete remodel/renovation in 2023 and features all the modern amenities that you would expect a new home to have such as central heat & air, free Wi-Fi, 65" big screen with 5.1 theater surround sound, all new LED lighting and dimmer switches, side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, electric range, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal and large easy access shower.

The home includes 2 master suits each with queen beds, night stands, small dressers, ceiling fans, and 40" smart TV's. One of those suits have access to the master bathroom. There is one bedroom with 2 single beds, night stands, and ceiling fan and we also have a bedroom that includes a full size bed as well as queen bunk beds, night stand, and this bedroom is also attached to the master bathroom.
Guest access
Our guests have full access to the entire home except 1 locked closet that we keep bulk supplies in.
Other things to note
A few features of the Country Cottage to note as you are making your decision to stay are:

1) There are 2 standard height steps to enter the home located at the front porch and also at the carport entrance. We have provided grab bars to assist when needed.

2) The hall to the master bedroom and queen bunk bed room is slightly narrower than standard hallways. However, our guests with walkers shouldn't have a problem.

3) The Country Cottage has its own water well. The water is sourced from underground aquifers. There have not been any known problems with the water quality, smell, or taste. However, if an additional filtration is desired, filtered water is provided and can be accessed via the refrigerator water dispenser.

4) The Country Cottage has its own septic system. Please refrain from flushing items such as:

Anything plastic,
Band-Aids, Bleach, Cat litter/ excrement, Chewing gum, Cigarette butts,
Coffee grounds, Condoms, Cosmetics, Cotton balls/swabs,
Dental floss, Disposable diapers, Facial tissues, Feminine hygiene products,
Fish/snakes/little critters, Food, Grease/oil, Hair, Nail clippings,
Paint/sealants/thinners, Paper, Paper towels, Pharmaceuticals,
Poisons/hazardous waste, Toilet seat covers,
Wet wipes (baby wipes, disinfecting wipes, "flushable" wipes), etc
