Capitol Hill is Seattle’s most prominent nightlife and entertainment district and the center of the city’s LGBTQ+ community! Considered the most hip and trendy of the Seattle’s young culture, this district is centrally located with easy access to the whole city. Check out the “all are welcome” attitude at some of Pike and Pine St’s classic bars that make our beloved city so wonderful. Bop in the other direction to the infamous Broadway Ave and see what all of the fuss is about.
This location is very central and safe. Close to the bus lines, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and all that Seattle has to offer.

Link Light Rail
The closets light rail location to the home is the Capitol Hill Station. It’s located about .7 miles away, or a 4 minute drive. The light rail offers easy access to downtown’s Pike Place Market, boardwalks, Ferris wheel and more. You can also take the light rail directly to the stadium at UW or downtown.
Whenever I have enough time, I always take the light rail to the airport because it costs $3 vs $35-$65 Uber or Lyft. Keep in mind, it will take you about 5 minutes to the station from the home in a car and another 40 mins to get from the station to the airport. It will help you avoid heavy traffic if that may be an issue too.
Uber & Lyft
The fastest and most reliable mode of transportation in our opinion. Simply download the App and go. Uber/Lyft Driver’s are always minutes away and cost an average of $10-20 per ride.
Turo & Car2Go
You can rent a car with car sharing apps by downloading Turo or the Car2Go app.
Parking
The home comes with one SMALL parking spot. If you have more than one car or a large vehicle, street parking is available.
The home comes with one designated parking spot within the compact garage. The garage is 195"(l) x 94"(w). For size reference, it fits a Subaru forester but is VERY snug and our Ford Fusion does not fit length wise in the garage.
Please be aware of the the parking size limitations!
The garage will not fit a 4runner or anything that size/larger. Please look up your car measurements or plan on not using the garage prior to arrival. Your car must fully fit inside the garage with the door closed for you to use it. If you have a large car or truck, parking is not provided and you will have to find free street parking which can be difficult in this busy area.

We just had a quick overnight stay here while in town for an event. The host was super easy to deal with and highly communicative. I have no complaints, but I DO wish the garage had been just a little bit bigger (we were mere inches long), but the listing covers it accurately. Aside from that the only other issue I can site is it was slightly tricky finding the building, but I'd chalk that more up to our experience in bigger cities! It all worked out, and the place is super clean and in great shape, near a ton of places.
This 3 story townhome was immaculately clean, quiet, spacious and surprisingly private given the urban environment (we never heard neighbors who are on both sides, and the tall evergreen screening between properties really gives the feeling of privacy despite neighbors being just a short distance away). There are many rules and procedures to follow (pay attention to the parking ones, in particular, if you’ll have a car). Our stay was very comfortable but did come with a couple of unexpected surprises. Despite asking twice, pre-check-in, for the sofa bed to be made, and being assured the cleaning staff would be alerted, we had to make up (and inflate) the sofa bed late on our first night. That same night we encountered a functional but extremely noisy A/C unit in the primary bedroom. Texts with the property manager/owner (we were never sure which) told us it had been serviced and suggested we flip circuit breakers in the garage and/or climb up (quite high) to remove a covering and empty the drain pan; we opted to use the provided, rotating fan instead of the A/C due to the noise. The Capitol Hill neighborhood has dozens of restaurants, shops, and bars and this townhouse is conveniently located to easily walk to many places. There’s definitely something for everyone, however it is quite gritty with all the sights, sounds and smells that come with urbanity.

About the host
Hosted by Crystal Hall
Hi, I'm Crystal!
In 2016 I took the road trip of a lifetime intending to move from St. Louis to San Fransisco. While on a pitstop in Seattle, I stayed in a short-term rental where the host said he just left San Fran bc Seattle was better. After that conversation my road trip ended early. I took my host's word and ended up renting a 1 bed/1bath in Seattle. I enjoyed my short term rental experience so much I listed my personal apartment. Since 2016 I've rented out 3 more of my personal spaces and have helped others list their own spaces. I love styling homes and creating a fun and unique experience for guests. I hope all my guests come to fall in love with Seattle, just as I did.
