Perfect location

We needed a place to stay for my mom’s Celebration of Life on Lee Lake. Kelly Lake was the perfect location for our family of 8. Thanks for a great 5 days.

Beautiful private cabin just steps from the lake. The lake was very clean and great depth for floating around and playing water Frisbee. Water shoes were helpful because it is rocky. We caught a bass. Recommend to bring your own camp chairs to sit on the pier. Lot is generally shady aside from the pier. Cabin was beautiful and clean. Appreciated the provided bath towels. A fridge upstairs and downstairs was nice to have. Kitchen had some cooking items like spices, oil, and plenty of utensils, pans, etc. Grill worked great and is right off the kitchen/dining area.Gorgeous master bedroom on the main floor with its own patio door to the back and a two person shower. Upstairs were two more bedrooms and a full bath. Last full bath is in the finished lower level (and a half bath on main level). Water is well water and you can tell but the fridge had a water dispenser and that was fine for us.We messaged the host a couple times with little questions and they were quick to respond. We went to Romys for dinner one night which was a fun classic supper club vibe with strong old fashioneds. No credit cards accepted.Our family had a fantastic time here and would definitely return!

Really is Heaven on Earth Just as Advertised

This property is beautiful. The pictures of the cabin and grounds do not do it justice. We were there for a family vacation and had a great time. The cabin is big enough where we never felt crowded, there was plenty of room to find some privacy to read a book or get some quite time for your self. The kitchen is set up to entertain and for large family meals. There is a nice place in the back for bonfires and hanging out. The private dock is a great feature. We fished and swam off if it the entire week. Kelly Lake is very laid back and just a very relaxing place to be. Walking distance to the cabin is a great supper club Romy's Holiday Inn. It is an old school North Woods Supper Club with great food and super friendly service. Everyone there knew we were out of towners but they treated us like locals anyways. Lastly, the host Harry is a great guy. He went out of our way to make sure we felt like his place was ours. His attention to detail was over the top and he was super responsive to any questions or requests we had. Even thought we paid for the stay, he made us feel like a close buddy was just loaning us his place for a vacation. We checked out yesterday and will be booking our next vacation at the cabin today. Thanks Harry!
