The house was wecoming and comfortable; the yard well-kept and private; the host thoughtful and available. This is my new favorite home away from home.

Decent
I brought my teenage son and my teenage nephews down for the MHSAA basketball semi final games. It was an easy in and out and not far from the Breslin Center. We were only at the house long enough to sleep really. The door was tricky to lock and the leaving instructions I got too late in an email so I didn’t know what to do. Dean was quick to respond when we were there. The neighborhood is ok, some neighbors were a bit strange but we ignored them. Beds were ok, pretty hard but we weren’t there long so it wasn’t terrible.

While the property management communicated well, the property itself was rough. Maybe for a college kid group this would be adequate, but the quality of the pretty much everything was not up to VRBO standards. 58 degrees with the A/C on full blast and took 4 hours that night to get to 70; spiders throughout upon entry (killed 8 the first night in multiple rooms) and webs confirmed it hadn't been cleaned/touched in a while; the bathroom tub needed some grout/caulk as it was apart, and the BR sink had no catch so if a ring or anything slips into the sink, it's gone; a single light in a 4 light fixture in the dining room; curtains hanging in the floor heaters (is that a fire hazard?); kitchen cabinets were dirty...all just confirmed the property wasn't for us. Internet was not as prescribed and required some communication with "management" to find "they were told is the right network". All in all, not for us and our family with a 10 month old. After communication, we left after one night paying two nights rent to get out of there. As I said, rough, and we didn't look back.
