Be secluded but within a short drive of the many cultural and natural attractions of this beautiful area. This lovely 3 BR, 3BA home has views of hills, gardens and trees visible from all windows throughout the house and from the screened porch and terrace. The cozy window seat is a favorite spot to see the views, distant and near, of Berkshire Hills and birds and trees. The property has multiple beautiful gardens in bloom throughout the summer and fall. Walk from the end of the driveway on "the loop", a 4 mile route on dirt roads taking you through field and forest. You may see porcupines, turkeys or fox; you may hear the Piliated Woodpecker. You are 15 minutes from Tanglewood and downtown Lenox and Stockbridge, MA. Richmond Pond, apple orchards, historic estates and hiking are nearby. Great Berskhires food scene!
This is an "upside down" house with bedrooms and 2 baths on the lower level. Two rooms have sliding doors to the outdoors.

Fabulous place

My husband and I stayed at this place with our dog this past week and loved the home, the flower gardens, the dirt road around the house that was perfect for walking the dog, and the proximity to Lenox and other towns. The house is large, bright, airy, clean and the pictures don’t do it justice. The large windows and screen doors bring tons of natural light and the deck and screened porch were fun hang out spots. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back here when we are in town next.

Peaceful

We had a wonderful week here. Beautiful property that was about 20 min away from the places we met up with family (Egremont, Gt. Barrington, Housatonic, Lenox, Tanglewood, Pittsfield). Lower level bedrooms were damp and attracted spiders but after 24 hours of running the dehumidifier and ac they improved alot. The down side was constant noise. The spiders stayed. Good wifi for work. Well stocked kitchen. Driveway was a tight squeeze entering for our camper but once in, it had plenty of space to leave it. Beautiful yard with gardens with hidden sitting spots including a hammock. A snafu with vrbo had us scrambling to get the code to get in, but hosts were very helpful to resolve this.
