This is an absolute jem! We loved everything about this cute little hotel! Danielle was wonderful and easy to communicate with. The room is decorated so cute and it’s so clean! The location is walking distance to anything in safety Harbor! We would definitely stay again! 😊

Clean, comfortable, and a convenient location says it all!

I have been staying at the Safety Harbor Motel every February since 2013. New owners last year have remodeled and updated but kept its original old charm. A Comfortable bed and kitchenette make this little home away from home the best!! It is an easy walk to downtown with all of its shops and wonderful restaurants and the pier where more often than not you can see manatees. I highly recommend the Safety Harbor Motel!

Retro on the outside; retro chic on the inside!

We've lived in Safety Harbor for 20+ years, and we often walk past the Safety Harbor Motel. But, until this past weekend when our AC went out and we had relatives arriving for a visit, we had never seen the inside. What a hidden treasure! From the outside, the SHM seems a vestige of another, quieter time. There's nothing fancy about the retro sign or the few small buildings nestled behind the oak trees lining a quiet residential area on Main Street. Inside? Clean, comfy, and cozy without being cramped and with all the modern amenities including a decent-sized flatscreen TV, Wifi, microwave, two-burner stove, mini-fridge, appliances, small eating area, and bathroom. Our guests reported the was the most comfortable hotel bed they have ever experienced. We are grateful there was a vacancy for the one night we needed it, and we appreciate the owners expediting our SOS call. P.S. Two short blocks down the hill is one of the best pizza spots in the area!

Great Value & Location

Our stay here was very enjoyable! Very easy registration online and check-in was a breeze. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything was as advertised. The best feature is the close proximity to all the restaurants and shops in Safety Harbor. Staff was friendly and responsive to any questions or requests. We will definitely stay here again.
