About this property

Spacious artist's studio loft apartment with view

Summary:
Take it easy at this unique & tranquil getaway. Enjoy Helena, MT in this cozy, newly remodeled studio with incredible views of The Sleeping Giant. This studio is located a short drive or bike ride from downtown, Archie Bray Foundation for the Arts, & numerous parks & hiking trails. Ten Mile Creek & Spring Meadow Lake are less than a mile away. Trails for hiking & biking Mt. Helena directly out the back door. Brand new kitchen, gourmet stove, cookware, table settings. Wifi, parking are included.

The Space:
The studio is newly remodeled with hardwood floors and locally hewn wood features, along with stainless steel and iron elements in the kitchen. There is a full bath and shower. There is plenty of light if guests prefer during the day, but we also provide blackout blinds for those wanting to sleep in a bit or for early bedtimes in the months with longer days.

**We provide a window AC unit during the hot summer months when temperature remain consistently in the 80's or above. The unit is removed in the cooler months.**

Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire home, patio, and parking space. Please be aware that you may see others around the property and in and out of red building next door.

The first two levels of the red building are a professional ceramic studio, owned by Adam Field of Adam Field Pottery. If he is around, he is happy to meet you and show you around his work space. If he is not around and you would like to schedule a studio tour please make a request via message. You may also run into his ceramic assistant.

If the artist isn't home, please don't take tours on your own of the studio as there are many fragile items in various stages of drying and glazing.

The top floor is another Airbnb unit with guests coming and going.

You are welcome to walk around on the grounds of the property, observe the wildlife that passes through, and smell the flowers and sagebrush, but we do ask that you are mindful and courteous of the others you may see during your stay.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is about a ten minute drive from downtown Helena. Though there are a few surrounding homes sprinkled on the hill, we love that there is a private and cozy feel. Set against the hills, you are able to enjoy an incredible view of the Helena Valley including the Sleeping Giant. You can also access a trail system just up the road from your front door.

Other Things to Note:
Adam Field creates handmade pottery in the form of porcelain tableware and vessels and also makes traditional Korean Onggi fermentation vessels. Guests may order ceramic pieces from him as keepsakes for their time in Helena and functional wares for their kitchen or gifts for loved ones, business associates.
Jessica (Jesse) Peterson has a local Apothecary and Massage Business called Wild Willow Wellness. Guests on this property are invited to schedule a massage for 10% off the regular price. There are 4 therapists to choose from! The studio is about a 10-minute drive or 15-minute bike ride from the property.

My son and I had a great night sleep after soaking at Broadwater Hot Springs. It’s a beautiful place and had everything that we needed. Communication with the owner was easy and we would stay here again.
