Great base to explore Yellowstone

We enjoyed getting to stay in Island Park and felt that the property was conveniently located to all we wanted to do. We truly felt that we were able to get the most out of our week vacation in the area. We spent a couple of days exploring Yellowstone National Park, went horseback riding and to the West Yellowstone rodeo, a day trip to Grand Teton National Park, and a day of UTV rental to explore Island Park. The property itself was in a beautiful and quiet location. A couple of small details that would have enhanced our trip would be: access to additional bath towels for our family (probably would have been fine with what we had if we were staying a shorter time), additional toilet paper and paper towels (we ran out and had to purchase more-which is fine but felt that for the price that there could have been more), and adding a can of raid or bug spray. Other than those small details, we overall enjoyed our stay in this location.

Scenic spot for West Yellowstone adventure

Loved the views of the lake from the back windows & porch. Quiet, private, with easy access to all of the activities we wanted to enjoy, from Yellowstone to Snake River.
