Beautiful setting. This was a great place for our family to stay. We loved having three family rooms so that the teens and older kids had a place to hang out together. And they enjoyed the Loft where five of them could sleep. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked like it would be very nice to be up on the deck surrounded by the pine trees. We had a few little issues but the host was very quick in responding and resolving them, which we appreciated so much.
This property was perfect for our vacation for a large family, and it was in the perfect location to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons! What a beautiful place and we made some awesome core memories! Host was quick to respond with any questions. It is listed with only 2 bathrooms, but there are actually 3! I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance! Only thing I would suggest, is maybe replace some double beds with queen size, its more comfortable for couples.
We loved our stay at this wonderful cabin, with more than enough room for everyone! We had 3 families together, 6 adults and 5 kids, and there were rooms and beds to spare. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and well-kept. The cabin was clean and cozy with beautiful scenery and was stocked with everything we could've needed for our stay.Close to West Yellowstone for shopping, dining, and visiting the park, with lots of other charming small towns to discover nearby. We can't wait for our next visit!
This was an amazing place to stay. With our large family along with small children there was so much room that we all had room to have our own space and not have kids on top of us the whole time. I would recommend this place to anyone!!
Fun property if you are staying in the area for multiple days - good location- if I was traveling with young kids this would be a good spot- one small issue owners address immediately ~grateful for a place to stay close to the park.
This cabin is deep in the woods with nothing but pine trees all around. Lots of balcony space all around. Beautiful quiet setting. Only two people in our group but a very nice place to stay. Well away from the crowds of Yellowstone which is what we were looking for.
Everything was great. Lots of room for the whole family. The hot tub was nice and there were plenty of towels which was nice. My daughter left her wallet there when we left and they mailed it to her. Thank you very much for that! The only thing that was a negative is the basement smelled very strongly of mold. We had people sleep down there but it did affect their sleep so if we could have done things differently we wouldn't have had anyone sleep there but then it would've removed two bedrooms for us to use. So if you are sensitive or really need that space, just an FYI.
Our kids had so much fun inside the cabin playing air hockey as well as the outside! We utilized the fire pit and the swings and the kids loved exploring in the trees! We played cards at the table and had a lot of fun!
We loved the house! We had 5 adults and 5 kids, ages 3 - 13. It was not far to Yellowstone, which was our destination for the weekend. I asked my grandkids what they liked best about the mini vacation and they all said the house. None of us were ready to leave. We would definitely stay again.
Very nice property overall. Growing up on a farm, we loved the free roaming cattle outside. There were 2 lights out which i notified the host but not a big issue. The outdoor deck and furniture could use cleaned but will probably just get dusty again. Our family really enjoyed the house and the hot tub after a long day of hiking. There was lots of space. We only had 12 teens/adults so we didnt have any issues with the number of bathrooms. We received a lot of messages with valuable information from the host. It would be nice to have a binder with it all printed especially the check out procedures. We don't have any major complaints and would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home.
Everything was as pictured online. Winters are rough in this part of the country and it showed on the roads to the property. Other than that it was a great choice to stay.
We enjoyed our stay! The outside of the property was not well kept and was messy. Inside was nice and clean with all the amenities. The furniture was comfortable and access to TV, Internet, have, etc. was wonderful! We did find mice upstairs, which is not unexpected in this area. The only bummer was the hot tub did not get any hotter than 94, so the adults didn't really get in.

Hi Bradley,
I am really glad you enjoyed the vacation at the cabin. One of your guests locked the hot tub temperature panel at the low temperature and we unlocked it. Not sure about the mouse, we have never had any in the house in the past as we have a professional pest control company. However, due to the seclusion in the middle of the forest, when door is left open mice can get into the cabin especially in fall time. Again thanks. For staying and I am glad you enjoyed your vacation. Thanks

Our stay with a large family and close access to Yellowstone
We were extremely happy with the accommodations especially with the four levels of the sleeping areas and a family gathering on each level. The cousins occupied the second floor family area and played video games. The wrap around porch was nice and we cooked on the grill on our arrival. My only complaint was there is no hand railing to walk up the stairs and the bottom area below the stairs is very uneven. I am 70 with bad knees so someone would have to help me up and down the stairs. The private area was great because we didn’t have to listen to any neighbors. I would highly recommend this cabin!!
This was a great cabin to stay in for our extended family trip to Yellowstone. The kids loved the loft with all the beds. The kitchen had a nice selection of pots, pans, and utensils. There were lots of little places for people to gather. The beds were better than most hotels we’ve stayed at. The owner is very responsive.
There are a few things the owner is working on. One is ventilation in the basement. It was a bit musty and heavy feeling. We had a few highly sensitive sensory kids that struggled with it. But the main and upper floor were fine.
Plenty of room for our family of 16. The cabin was well stocked with bath towels and kitchen supplies. It was unusually warm for island park during our stay and the only AC unit is a portable window unit on the 2nd floor which kept the family room comfortable but the bedrooms and loft were miserable. There was a box fan but it wasn’t enough for the whole area. It does cool down at night but there is no cross breeze upstairs so it was hard to get cooled down. We had family coming later and they were able to bring some fans so we could get the air moving. We made it work and all was well. The hot tub was not functioning right and they got the hot tub guy up there right away, late on a Thursday night and it was warm and ready when we got back from the park on Friday. We enjoyed our stay very much and the location was beautiful. Very quiet and surrounded by trees.
Our family had a fabulous time on our trip to Yellowstone. This home worked very well for the 12 of us (5 couples, one 12 yo and one single). We had fun every night playing games in the spacious dining area. We also grilled a few night on the back porch. The lower roof on the porch was not an issue for us. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and staples. It was unseasonably warm when we were there, so the loft sleeping are was not as cool as desired, but there was a fan to help circulate the air.
Kristina was VERY prompt responding to the minor issues that we encountered.
The house is about 25 min drive from the W. Yellowstone entrance.
We definitely stay here again.
Great location, lots of space for us to spread out. Comfortable and clean. Kids loved the loft and all the games to play. Air hockey was a hit! First night we did not have garbage bins outside, but Kristina remedied that the second night. Hot tub also was cold and there were no outdoor lights that we could find to work. Wood scraps and clutter seemed to be strewn about the property, and the house possibly under ongoing renovations? The water heater downstairs does make the floor wet. The griddle under the sink does not work. We tried multiple outlets in the kitchen. Luckily the skillets and cooking hardware are plentiful!
All in all it really is a great cabin and our family loved our stay!

Hi Christina,
I am glad you enjoyed the cabin and your vacation. The hot tub was cold because it was turned down and takes a couple hours to heat back up. The wood scraps I assume you mean the ones around the firepit. We left those for people to use as firewood if they wanted to use them. The property is not under construction. The repair guy has done the repair on the water heater. We have replaced the griddle thank you for notifying me it was not working. Thanks

Lots of beds, house is in need of repair
There were plenty of beds and room for 8 people. The house is is need of repair.
- We had a bat flying around the kitchen on the first night. Had to shoo it out the door with a spatula.
- All the decks have sagged significantly - to the point where you can't open the back door going from the kitchen to the BBQ. This made getting to the grill rather cumbersome every night. If you're not careful, you'll hit your face on the door when it binds up on the roof and doesn't open fully.
- Most of the floor mats upstairs were soaked upon arrival (kitchen, main bathroom, downstairs bathroom).
- The toilet upstairs wobbles around on the floor. The seat is also not attached well, so you slide off. That toiled also had trouble shutting off - we had to open the lid and make sure the flap sealed almost every flush.
- The air hockey table didn't work - seems like the power cord was busted.

Hi Chris,
I am glad you enjoyed your vacation in island park and Yellowstone. First, I am sorry a bat flew into the house when you and your party left the doors and windows open. The cabin is in the woods and bats are attracted to light they will fly in when the doors and windows are left open. In addition, the backdoor opens and closes fine, you are the first guest that has struggled with operating it. In regards to the back deck, the snow weight this year sunk it in about 1 to 2 inches but is still fully usable. It is going to be repaired/replaced in August. Again we have received no complaints about this from any guests about the deck and everyone has been happy and understanding. Third, the Air Hockey table works fine…Again this is an operator error. There is a switch under the table that you had to switch on and off nothing had to do with the plug. If you would have asked, I would have told you how to use it. You mentioned the toilet it has recently been replaced and is brand new. Thanks

The property worked perfectly for our large family. We filled every bed and most people found the beds quite comfortable. It was nice having common areas on each floor so we could spread out when desired. There were plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils. It was easy access to Yellowstone. We saw a fox and deer in the yard. We did have a small bat visit in the cabin which added some fun excitement. We were able to shoo it out the door pretty easily. A very fun time was had by all.
My family loved our stay at this cabin. It is in a beautiful location, surrounded by tall trees. We loved watching for the "neighborhood" moose (we counted 3), fox and even salamanders and toads.
Anytime we had a question or concern, the hosts were very quick to respond to our needs. Thanks for the great stay!
We had a wonderful time in this cozy cabin. We cooked several meals in this well stocked kitchen. My grown children appreciated the sofa and tv spaces on each level for individual down time. Kids gates were provided so littles don't fall down steps.
There was 20 of us and we all enjoyed our stay. We saw moose right down the road from the house. The only bad thing was the road going to the house was in terrible shape.
