HOME BUILT IN 1903 - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!
Our home blends historic charm with modern comforts. We take great pride in our home and have worked hard to make it more comfortable for your stay. To ensure full transparency, please review ALL notes before booking:
Lower Ceilings in Basement: If you're traveling with taller people in your group (guests 6’ & up), they may prefer the upstairs level for comfort. Please use caution.
Main Level Queen Bedroom: This room does not have a working air vent and the windows do not open. Portable fans and heaters are provided in the closet. A/C works well in the rest of the home, and the basement stays *MUCH* cooler. We’ve had HVAC technicians come out and unfortunately, this is not a quick or easy fix.
Downstairs Bathroom: No electrical outlet inside, but there’s a vanity area right outside with an outlet. (Bathroom renovated March 2025, updated photos coming soon.)
Original Hardware & Doors on Main Level: Expect quirks! Please use gently—reminders are posted throughout the home.
Creaky Hardwood Floors: Our beautiful original hardwood floors may be noisy for light sleepers.
Continental Upstairs Bathroom: The full bathroom off the king bedroom also opens to the kitchen. Both doors have locks for privacy.
Sleeping Arrangements: 5 beds in the home (upstairs: 1 king, 1 queen, downstairs: 1 queen, 1 double, 1 twin) Sleeps 9 - 10 comfortably. Extra linens, blankets, and pillows are stored downstairs along with 2 Queen air mattresses.
We love sharing our home and believe in setting clear expectations. Questions? Message me anytime.

House was GREAT! Visiting our son at LC and being able to make great dinners for him and his baseball teammates was fantastic...great and well appointed kitchen, walk able to the ball field and river, the views take the cake especially the sunsets! We love the location and will always look to rent in the future!
It was the perfect place for our family to stay and to gather for the weekend of our mama's celebration of life, and the harvest of the family hobby vineyard.Cheers to the enjoyment of everyday.
Wonderful location with access to the river walk, the house is amazing, very nicely furnished and laid out. the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking wares. We would stay there again if in the area.

Thank you so much for reviewing our home, Cynthia! We would welcome you back anytime.
My husband, sister and her husband and their friends (couple) stayed at Prospect Delight for 2 nights and found everything clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained. Our visit to Littleton was to take the full day jet boat ride up the Snake River through Hells Canyon. WOW, it didn't disappoint. I would stay again if traveling in the area. Highly recommend.
We were in town for a funeral, and the house was a perfect place for us to stay. Six adults and two children had plenty of room to spread out and relax/play. We loved the view and enjoyed having separate space for the three family groupings. Brandi was great to work with.

Thanks for the nice review, Doug! Glad you all enjoyed your stay.
The property served as 'base camp' as we attended several events in the area, and was host to multiple family members and a celebratory dinner.
Great location, perfect space for our needs, and an awesome host. Friendly neighbors and convenient access to the trails along the Snake River.
Exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely stay here next time we need a larger space when visiting the area. Thanks Brandi!
Very clean and well set out with full amenities. Furnished with thought and care. Comfortable beds. lots of outdoor seating areas. Beautiful view of the river. Games and books.. One of the nicest I have seen.
Very nice property, outstanding view. Property Manager is very responsive. The neighbor to the north allows their dogs to bark pretty much non-stop when they are outside.
This property was exactly as advertised. The place was spacious, neat, and very clean. The host was very polite and responsive. The decor was very cute, even the little reminders around the site about where supplies were located. The backyard was perfect for our small dogs. If you stay at this place, please leave it better than you found it, this place should be around for years to come.
Great neighborhood. Quiet. Home was clean. Everything was labeled. Instructions for home are clear. Felt safe. Comfortable. Will be back to visit again.
Very nice older home with view of the Snake River. The house is good for couples but not as great for our group of guys since everyone is sharing a bathroom. Main floor has 2 BR but just 1 full bath. Basement hasf low ceilings with another couple BRs and 1 bath.
Beds are comfy and home is very clean.
We arrived Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Myself, & family. The house was beautiful rustic and well maintained. Brandi and her staff had everything all set for us.
Thank you for being such great hosts. We will be back soon.

Chuck and his group left our home in great shape and he was very responsive. We would welcome back anytime!
This home has room for everyone to spread out and enjoy. We loved the historic photos and architectural charm mixed with a modern kitchen and amenities (like air conditioning on the 108 degree day!) The hosts couldn’t have been more attentive and accommodating. They were constantly in communication when needed. With little touches like a coffee bar and snacks for my kids, everyone’s experience was a wonderful one. The location is easy to get to with gorgeous views…we even had a deer visit the front lawn! The back yard is fenced and perfect for our pup to run off some energy. We would definitely stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Brandi and Colbey Nelson
I was born and raised in Clarkston, WA (right across the river, actually!) and am a true native to the Valley. We love sharing our beautiful historic home with others, it is the perfect place to take in all that the valley has to offer. I love walking to downtown Lewiston and exploring all the shops & restaurants. You are truly in the heart of the LC Valley. There is so much to explore - gateway to Hells Canyon, boating adventures, wineries, parks, hiking - the list goes on. I fell in love with this home the moment I first stepped foot inside and I am positive you will experience the same feeling. Catching the sunsets from the front porch is my absolute favorite thing to experience when I'm at The Prospect Delight.
Why they chose this property
Walkability, views, neighbors. There is so much history on Prospect Avenue.
What makes this property unique
Built in 1903, this home features so much history and charm. The private, fully fenced back yard is peaceful and beautiful (especially once everything is in bloom!). The view from the front porch is captivating of the Snake River - unobstructed views and a perfect place to watch the sunset. Don't forget to check out the photo on the living room wall from the original date of construction.
