Welcome to one of the nicest oceanfront condos on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Our corner unit is a two bedroom, two bath (walk-in & shower-tub), oceanfront located near Wright Brothers National Memorial. It's also walking distance to some of the island's best restaurants. If you want relaxation and comfort, the large private balcony offers the sound of the waves and an unobstructed view of the Atlantic.

Loaded with comforts and amenities, First Flight Retreat is not only the finest choice in condos, our unit is well appointed and has the best views on the beach.

Workout facility, pool and game room on premises. The pool typically opens Memorial Day weekend and closes mid-Oct.

Dog friendly for a friendly dog. Pet Beach Time 6PM to 9AM from Memorial Day to Labor Day (Kill Devil Hills mandate); offseason 24x7 pups rule these quiet beaches! For anyone who's scrambled shoeless across the blazing sand in the summer, it makes sense.

Kill Devil Hills get-away. Condo was perfect for a few beach days, it was great we could bring the dog. Good location, nice beach, weather was a little iffy, but nothing could be done about that. I would stay again and highly recommend.

Why they chose this property

I've been enjoying the Outer Banks for thirty years. I truly believe that this is the nicest stretch of beach today and it's close to some of the best restaurants on OBX. If you like the outdoors, besides the great water activities head for Jockey's Ridge for sunset, take a walk through the woods at the Nature Conservancy at Nags Head Woods or go birding at Bodie Island Lighthouse. I hope that you find our place to be fresh, comfortable and as relaxing as we do.
