Our stay was wonderful! This home is lovely and the owners were responsive and appropriately responsive. We would definitely stay again and recommend the property!
Came to Georgetown to go to the Keeneland races and visit family. We had so much fun and were so happy to have a comfortable place to go to the end of the day. Really appreciate the host’s check in messages.
The house is cozy and quiet. Very comfortable furniture. All was clean and tidy! We enjoyed how close it is to Main St and all of the places to eat. We will definitely visit this location again!
Convenient to Keeneland, Kentucky Horse Park, the Distillery District and other places we wanted to visit. We enjoyed Georgetown’s older homes and the historic downtown area. The restaurant just across the street was very good for dinner. Good communication with owner.
We enjoyed our stay at Springside BoHo. We liked the exposed brick and woodwork in the unit. The outdoor patio was perfect to have a drink and relax. Easy walking distance to local restaurants and shops. We would stay again. Thank you!
We chose this property for our Lexington area visit for the charm of historic Georgetown, central location to horse farms, distilleries, Keeneland & the Arc Encounter. It was an excellent choice! This delightfully decorated & restored vintage home was fun, quiet & very comfortable. The home is very walkable to downtown for great dining & variety of shopping.
The location was super convenient for shopping and restaurants in the Historic downtown area. The bedrooms were spacious but still had that cozy feel at night. The loft was great for our 17 year old that likes his personal space. I appreciate all the extra towels that the owners provided for our 3 night stay! I would recommend this house for the cleanliness, great design, and convenience. Communication with the owners was excellent as well!
We just loved the decor, the location, and overall "it felt like home" feeling. All the little amenities that weren't expected put it over the top. We spent a lot of time at the Kentucky Horse Park and it was hot ! It was amazing to come back to such a nice, comfy & cool little get away. We're rebooking for next year.
My hubby and I had an overnight stay here for our anniversary. It was so charming. Everything was comfortable (especially that master bed) and we felt right at home.
It was a quick walk to downtown Georgetown.
I liked all of the little touches such as box fans available and I loved the map showing where all the guests have visited from.
Communication with the owner was great and he was very accommodating!
Thanks
This was one of the most unique stays I’ve ever experienced. A well-designed house with a rustic look. Cute, cozy, and deceivingly large on the inside. They made the best use of space in this hideaway.
Personal parking parking spaces and a killer restaurant just across the street. We found ourselves walking and biking everywhere.
This place is great and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone making a trip to the area or just passing through.
This is a wonderful property. It is very cozy, and the beds are fantastic. About our only criticism would be more that there was not a lot of lighting in the primary bedroom and that there needed to be a better non-stick skillet or two for the kitchen. Also, for those with kiddos, the stairs to the loft are very steep. Property is perfect for adults though, and the location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants.
We love the uniqueness of the house and the great backyard. It came with two dedicated parking spaces and room for two more. Great restaurants near by and close to a fun downtown shopping area. The house worked for us and was home away from home.,
We truly enjoyed our stay for our girls trip! The beds were SOOOOO comfortable and the house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It was convenient to walk to the local restaurants. Would stay again for sure!
We enjoyed the property, we were comfortable and felt safe there. Fun boho environment with good food across from the street. Host was available, kind and great communication.
This property was very nice and clean. It is well maintained and communication with the iwner was easy even over the holiday.

About the host
Hosted by Jonathon H Gruchow
We have lived here in Georgetown for over 30 years now. We love traveling, camping, hiking, kayaking and fishing locally and abroad.
We opened our first BnB a year and a half ago and have enjoyed hosting individuals and families there.
Why they chose this property
Downtown Georgetown is home to Georgetown College that has been a staple of Georgetown since 1829. As you drive through downtown Main Street you will see a wide variety of historical homes some built at the precipice of the establishment of Georgetown. Georgetown provides a variety of restaurants and pubs including some local favorites such as Fava's restaurant serving since 1910, Galvin Sports Bar and Grill, Local Feed and Slainte Pub. The world renounced Kentucky Horse Park and Altec Arena are a short 10-minute drive from Georgetown.
What makes this property unique
This BnB is very unique in that it still has a lot of the original character that it had when it was first built. the narrow staircase, the loft bedroom and a majority of the original floors are still there today.
