Perched upon a bluff in Rosarito, Mexico overlooking the Pacific Ocean just south of Rosarito Beach, is Casa de la Oceana, our private 7th floor luxury condominium home in the exclusive Calafia condominiums resort community. Our private vacation home offers a private beach to dip your toes in the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean; exercise facilities; pools; hot tubs; ping pong; pool table; walking areas for you and your pet; and a very large walk out balcony patio, with spectacular views, up and down the coast.

Your home on the ocean offers a large Master Suite with King bed, private bath and has its own access to the ocean view balcony. The Master Suite is complimented by a spacious living area with chefs kitchen and panoramic, floor to ceiling, uninterrupted ocean view. Our home is more than comfortable for a party of 6, having a large guest bedroom with Queen bed, a luxury style Queen size couch bed and a second full bath. There is also a ton of storage space for those folks that Travel Big and want to spend a month or three enjoying the area while living, working and vacationing.

Casa De La Oceana isn’t just any place to stay….it’s an escape, a vacation experience, a romantic getaway a “stay-cation” and an adventure that will enchant your heart and have you wanting to visit again and again! Play golf at Baja Mar; tour the wineries at Val de Guadalupe; experience Rosarito Days, or feel the need for speed during the Baja Desert Racing events.

Or....just chillax in your 7th floor high rise condo, work out in the private gym, lay out at the private pool or step into the Oceanside pool and hot tub. Walk down to the private beach and dip your toes into the water.

And when you get hungry, their are great restaurants 5 - 10 minutes north to downtown Rosarito, or south to Puerto Nuevo.

Glass of any kind is not allowed at the pool area. All HOA rules are made part of the Rental Agreement.

My wife Joannie and I split time between Denver and San Diego metro areas. Denver is where I raised my boys and San Diego is where Joannie raised her girls. I have been able to blend my work with my lifestyle and have a passion for the Mountains and the Ocean. As a child growing up on the east coast (Delaware), my parents would take me to the Jersey and Delaware shores on the Atlantic Ocean. My extended family all lived in the hill areas of Southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. I grew up seeing the Appalachian and Alleghany Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. I had the good fortune to have a few mentors enter my life to ignite my passions. College took me to Illinois where I lived 10 years and Corporate America took me to Denver, Colorado and the Rocky Mountains. I didn't realize how lucky I was to keep going “WEST”. I learned to ski and had the opportunity to buy a mountain home in the resort town of Breckenridge Colorado back in 1987 (Forest Haus – VRBO # 202168). It’s a long drive from the Rocky Mountains to an Ocean....and the Ocean was once again calling. I decided to go “BIGGER”!! The Pacific Ocean! In 2011, I met Joannie and chose San Diego to shorten my winters and to fall in love! We got married in Mexico and along the way I started a few small businesses in Denver and San Diego. I am now fortunate to own a beautiful home on the Ocean in Rosarito, Mexico. I would like to share our home with you! I have been offering vacation home properties for more than 35 years. I understand the importance of providing a quality guest experience that is a cut above the rest. We have two other homes on VRBO: Breckenridge Colorado; “Forest Haus” VRBO # 202168 and in the Denver metro area; “Olde Town Charmer” VRBO 4488339. My guests have rated all of my properties as a 5star accommodation. I think you will find “Casa de la Oceana” to be exceptional.

Case De La Ocean is part of the Calafia Condominium community. It sits atop a bluff right on the Pacific Ocean. It is a very safe gated and guarded community. Rosarito offers great food and friendly people. The peace and tranquility of our location, yet nice proximity to shopping, restaurants, wineries and oceanside golf, makes this a great destination for a long term stay-cation, or an extended romantic getaway.

What makes this property unique

Our property is unique because it is secluded, yet a quick drive to the action. You can do all the touristie things and then when you are done, you can retreat to the ocean for privacy. While no beaches in Baja are considered private, Calafia Condominiums offers access to its own beach that only residents of the community can readily access. It truly is a private beach for our resort style community.
